Great assesment, I have been gone and not able to follow up things at this important time but Play2live has a good insight. Unfortunately 1 or two favorites will not make it to state. Saturday will bring the true day of reckoning and will see some expected to go staying home. After tonights game I will give you some more insights on the unexpected I see possible

I really thought that Hume Fogg would step up and move on to another level, but they let this one get by them. I have to disagree with the thought that FRA will not beat CPA. FRA is playing very well right now and are really the "Middle TN" power and probably the only team that can stand in CAK's way

I agree that LC will whip Oneida but it is closer to a 3-1 game or a 2-1 game. Oneida has spurts of team soccer. I am taking Loudon over Kingston by one goal Again, these are my opinions based on current play and results and I Don't have a dog in this hunt, so my guesses are inbiassed and opinionate only by facts , no emotion

Problem I see here is:: that Brentwood if they win their Sectionals and Farragut if they win their Sectionals will play in the very first round of States, so that eliminates the idea of one of them being in the final four!!!

Region 7 is really weak this year, the best of that region is Cordova, but they reallly are not a threat. They can pull an upset but would lose in the next game. I am not trying to beat up the whole region just it is really so very weak this year. Region 8 Houston will come thru with Ridgeway on their tails

Sorry ONEGUY but in reality, Farragut is way to much for Maryville this year even with your standout players. I am an unbiased watcher and keep track of things and can hit pretty close most of the time. I see this as Farragut 3 or 4 goals better than Maryville.

Columbia did win 1-0 , but honestly the class here is Tullohoma and unless they overlook someone should breeze into Regions

This one plays out to be a great tournament. Webb will go down right away. no horses on the team, Fair players but no horses . BGA and Father Ryan ADVANCE TO THE TOP . and then ... and then...let's get that far and then I'll call the next step

While I expect Sullivan South to play in the district finals, I have seen over and over a group that was supposed to be good next year and not pull together their senior year. I would hope they do but next year is 12 months away and many things can happen. To be really a great team, you need to be good, have no injuries and believe it or not a little luck on your side

Blackman is the class here. Unless there is an upset, Blackman will be the champ. But Cookeville doesn't stand a chance in this at all.

Wow, Anytime is a bad time of year for that to happen, but right now, his senior year, during soccer playoffs, wow, that is tough. I will pray for this young man and hope he can focus thru this tough time.

CAK is a great team with a great coach. The game last night let you know that you must pick it up if you want to bring home another Championship. Ok , so you bent last night, but you are not broken, so get gettem Warriors you are a great team. My congrats to Farragut as well, you have your game now take it to everyone

I was there last night and have to agree with the new article on Coach T , that CAK coach said Farragut plays very fast and Faragut Coach said he has his team where he wants them now, that was apparent. I have not hidden the fact that I think those two coaches are two of the best in the state and the constant shiffting last night showed me both wanted to win. Great game and I even though CAK was outmannned last night, they played hard and will be a force to be reckoned with. IT was really over by halftime with the score 3-0, but CAK never gave up which has been a trademark of Coach G. I am really hoping Coach Purcell can bring home a middle Tenn state Championship, but after what I saw Farragut capable of last night, Farragut should be the favorite..........

LC ,, I hit this one on the head. My reporting to student sports is AAA but I watch the other classes tightly. So, far in Div II I am hitting pretty well with my early predictions of Catholic and Baylor (Both have won big lately) Pick a game, While I am better in AAA, I know enough that my calling games has been at 80% across the board with all 3 divisions. Got a game, you want called tell me who and I can get close. No brag , I just follow everything so tightly. I can guess all but when the favorite teams DON'T showup or so much emotion got the underdog up a notch. Now , I am not bragging, I just spend so much time and now that exams are done here at school , I have more time to committing to soccer. I will be leaving here at 3:00 CST to go to Knoxville and see CAK Vs Farragut, but if you anyone ask me a game, before then or tommorrow , I will do my best to hit it. Ok Big G, I know you will be monitoring this and you want to know my guess with your game. Ok , I really have Farragut as 1 or 2 goals better than you, BUT< that is why I am comming and they play the game( guessers are wrong sometime), I miss it 20 % of the time even with all my notes. Livingston is a decent team, and everyone should remember that decent teams sometimes stand up big come tournament time. I think this year especially in A/AA half the favorites will get thru , but the other half will be upset. Topsey Turvey in the A/AA class this year except maybe CAK and FRA, but I would say FRA is in a more vulnerable position. Well, for that matter the AAA and Div II are all upside down also.

I can't see this as a struggle for LC at all, However , everyone should have learned especially this year don't look past ANYONE.

My comment to this thread is where is Riverdale and Farragut and Glencliff and Mt Juliet. Maybe they haven't played as strong a competition but their records are worth noting. And Farragut has 1 of the hardest schedules in the state but they aren't in there either. Ranking this year has been questionable

I am really hoping a middle Tennessee team brings us back the titile again and with Brentwood and Hendersonville we have a chance. BUT, all of you posters are forgetting the East............ Bearden, Farragut, OAk Ridge, and Science Hill can all get past anybody. Don't misjudge their records, they have all played good teams and now that it is Tourney Time only 2 will come out but they will be formidable foes, and NOONE should look past them. The State Championship has gone thru Knoxville for 4 years running now So PlEASE don't overlook them at this important time

Baylor may not be at full strength come playoff time due to injuries, That is my only reason, that is what I was told , if'n I am wrong, so be it ......
