Lets say you have 100 people who have seen team A play and 5 people who have seen team B play and then you let them get in a room and talk about it, I will guarantee you most people pick team A. Respect is not given its earned, CPA plays in one of the toughest regions in the state (having 6 teams with the ability to make a run at state) and they came out on top. Rockwood beat CPA and you will get your respect from anyone and everyone!

I will agree with you that there is no way Jamont will be nervous. Ive seen him play many many of times, both tournaments and reglaur games. The bigger the crowd the better he is. Dont expect that to change this week.

I always had a theory about Denvers backs being so good because of the O-line, but I watched Portis play a few times this year and he was breaking tackles like crazy and making people miss long after he had hit the hole. Portis is a serious player but I do give the Denver O line their credit.

Dont fool yourself man, Skogen is a very good 1A player but you should get out and watch some AAA ball. Skogen wasnt even the best PG in 1A, that would have to go to Daniel Puckett who had to run PG all season because no one else on his team could get the ball down court. I got to see Henry Harris play a bunch of times this year and Skogen wouldnt want any part of him.

First off Bubba Taylor doesnt compare with Henry Harris. Second, Sean Bridges hands down??? Are you kidding me, its an honor for Henry Harris to have his name put up there with the likes of Kellen Pickel and Willie Kemp. But Bridges?? I would like to see a White Station vs Glencliff match up. The top 2 juniors head to head. Though White Station would probably win because of a much better team and quality depth it would be a fun game to watch.

If CPA can adjust to the slowing effects?? Sorry but they have beat FRA a few times who slows it down about as slow as is gets. They usually dont make it out of the 30's so I'm sure CPA wouldnt have much of a problem with someone playing slow ball. And would everyone please shut up about the public vs private crap!

That was kind of a dumb post to say will the experiment with a shot clock in the state tourney. You dont experiment in most important games of the season. I do think HS basketball needs a shot clock to keep people from playing the no-basketball basketball. In the region tourney Goodpasture vs. Davidsion Academy had times where some one would stand just across half court and hold the ball for minutes at a time because no one would come out to guard him. Now how is this basketball?

You can say Jamont Gordon just because he is that good. There is no one better in the state of Tennessee. If Brewer is an all American Jamont is all World because Brewer isint even on Jamont's level.

Jamont Gordon hands down, like mentioned before there is nothing he cant do. His passes will blow you mind and he can score from anywhere on the court.
