Bash any offense you want, but the offense only works if the kids buy into it. The wing-t is not the problem and Coach A isn't the problem when it comes to knowing X's and O's. I personally don't know him, but I know some of his staff and know they work hard. I've read the papers on saturaday mornings and read some of the box scores and all, when you don't hang onto the ball (players not coachs) your chances of losing increase. Any coach knows that. When Coach A was at Hillsboro, Did they turn the ball over a lot. NO? As far as coach Blade, I don't know him and he took over a successful program that was established before him. Still he has not won a state championship with them, but he does do a good job implementing his offense. He will get one someday if he stays the course. Good luck to all. God Bless.

If he is smart (not stupid), he'll shut up the talking now and wait for who is hired. I like old Phil, but the decision has already been made. UT will bring in a new coach, possiably with NFL experience. I'm sure they know about NFL talent a little more than Phil does since Phil hasn't coached there. All this talk is only going to allow the new coach to bring in his own people (coaches and players) and young Douglas might be riding the pine. Then he'll transfer to some small college and play. He will then never be viewed by NFL scouts as if he was at UT. Just stay the course and see what happens.

Westmoreland can easily win this game if they know how and believe. It should be difficult for Tyner to come into Westmoreland and win. They will be out of their surroundings and it doesn't help they drive across the state. So, the odds should be against them winning.

When has LA ever been a top flight program? You won state becasue of the coach you had then. Now, you don't even give a coach time to build a program. Even Rankin had a losing season before. Give the guy time. Last point, part of the problem could be all you guys getting on here and running down the program. Why would an athlete want to play for LA if all they hear is the constant crying from yall. For 3 years, you guys have torn up the program and one of your favorite sons when he seen the lining on the wall.

Funny, I'll be glad to sit with you and point out those B-teamers vs. starters. MJ many times had freshmen and sophmores on the field with your ones. I will not hide the fact we are young and YES Beech beat us. You have a good team, but not great. As far as MJ having more students, check who you guys have played out of district. One 5A team and 2 3A teams, while MJ has played all 5A teams. You better check yourself before talking smack.
