reb, there isn't one location to get stats for the state. You might look up individual school web sites and see what's posted there. See the links section here at Coacht. Midstate stats were published by the Tennessean, in their high school football section. Again see the newspaper link. TSSAA would have to hire a couple of guys/gals just to keep up with it. Also, don't know if all schools even keep season stats. I use a stat program from http://www.fixedit.com/statsbook.

Possum, what does this mean? ( I know in 2000 when the CPA team was anounced they had kids from all over the nation , not just Tennessee.) I've been assoicated with CPA since it's first team in 1993 and I don't follow what you mean. I'm prepared to give you the complete roster for 2000, when they started school at CPA , their address and how long they lived at there. If you've got a name or two, it would make it a lot simplier.

Guys, good conversation, but ya'll are moving towards recruiting and zoning, issues that belong on the Private/Public board. I'll move it over there, if you want, or leave it here if ya'll get back on subject.

....and, of course, the 1A publics would never do that after a split. They would never accuse another 1A public of any improprieties. Only the privates recruit and cheat, never the publics. Give me a break. When the split does occur, the complaints from 1A publics with not cease. If their team loses, it could never mean that their team or program isn't up to par, its' the other guy who has the advantage. The discussion has never been about fairness, it has always been about winning.
