Scout, I've got team stats done and most of Collinwood's individual. Don't know why they did included stats with the Tennesseans's article. First Downs CPA 14 Cwood 9 Total yards CPA 348-231 rushing,138 passing Cwood 155-60 rushing 102 passing. Passing CPA 8/5/0 Cwood 22/11/1 Fumbles CPA 2/lost1 Cwood 3/lost 1 Ward rushed 21 of the 24 rushing attempts net of 47 yards. Ward had all the passing attempts. Don't have time of possession done, but suspect that will be in CPA favor as well. Hope that helps.

I'm sorry, I must have missed it. Where in Jeff's article does a coach say "he will step up his recruiting efforts". Am I missing something or are ya'll reading something into it.

First of all, I said/or posted nothing about "ssssss". Second, all the footballs that are in the halls of Region 5 where won on the field, not in a posting on Coacht. Third, I will be proud to discuss with anyone when, and I pray I do, reach 76 of the success of the schools in region 5. Fourth, it looks like you won't have us around much longer.

Who are the public schools going to blame once all the privates are gone? Are you going to send the Cloudlands, S. Pitts, Collinwoods, or Brucetons to their own division, as well, as they continue to win? Your program is a success based upon what it does for its' members(boys and girls). Stop looking to other programs as an excuse for yours. Your success is not based upon what others do. If you continue to tell your teams that they cannot win because of the "advantages" other teams have, I can guarentee that they will not strive to do so. Dave Thomas, no high school or college education, no finances, just hard work, enthusiam and motivation built the Wendy's Company. I'm sure that he told himself and his "team" every day that they could not do it, that they could not be successful, that the competition had all the advantages. Turn that pointing finger around. All of the successful programs are not your problem.

Went back to see Cloudland's record since 1993 at Earl Nall's website and you are correct, but what happen in 1997? Is that correct only winning 2 games? Must have been a lean year.

I agree with chakra20 on the wear and tear. CPA has always tried to play one or two teams a year above our level, Goodpasture and Pigeon Forge, are examples this year. I think it also true that some 5a schools might not want to play an a1 school, just because of the upset quality. Week in and week out, I don't think we could keep up, though.

I'm going to click "ignore user" on bighurt. He makes my head hurt. He spends more time looking up those words than he does typing out the posting.

Chakra20 in the CPA/FRA game with it's 11 turnovers it was tough to get a read on them. There is something just not clicking with their offense, act like they got one flat tire. #15 had 87 yards on 15 rushing attempts, 11 tackles and 1 INT. #20 had 13 tackles and an INT. Passing they were 3/14 for 72 yards. How was the trip to Collinwood? They are a great bunch down there.

Tennessean has it McCallie 39, MUS 17.

Ezell 51-0 Tennessean has it 51-6 with Ezell having more rushing yards that passing yards. Guess will have to wait for Chakra20 to get back in from the game for an update.
