Id say they performed pretty well. Oh yes they did, it was an outstanding victory and one I'm sure you are proud of. Noone said we where proud of it. you guys have started a thread degrading what they do and have brought up things from recruiting to whether it was the Christian thing todo. Comeon man we knew we could win and we could name the score Guess what we named 71-7. Which last year in the Championship game we scored a total of one less touchdown and i didnt see anyone cryin about that because they felt Cloudland could defend thereselves. If you cant defend yourself why even show up. You werent even at the game and you definatley dont know Ezell. Grow up . They should have called and forfeited, but guess what ny Monday those kids wont remeber a thing i really doubt they are scared for life they havent won a game in 4 years. I don't know the situation in East TN., but that does not change my opinion of how a "champion" acts. The thread is about Ezell and how they performed on this past Friday night.

I agree totally with you. I hope Ezell does the same next week because they work just as hard as anyone but they are just not blessed with the players in numbers that other schools have. They are only 1 mile from Ezell and im sure that makes it tough for them. It isn't that we don't "like" Ezell, it just that they do not get our respect. You earn respect by giving it. You honor the work that your opponent has done all summer and fall getting ready to play. What a sacrifice all the kids and coaches (and their families) make to play this great game. Lighthouse's hard work and sacrifice is an EQUAL to the hard work and sacrifice that Ezell has made this year, NOT LESS. You set the example; as competition does build character, it also reveals it. Ezell, set an example of what an outstanding program is all about. Be humble in victory and praise your opponent when you are defeated. Give respect and you will receive it.
