Why didn't you just call Zach up and ask how he did?
  2. It's an expression, genius. I think he knows it's not a word.
  3. It's always the other team's fault, isn't it?
  4. Maybe CBHS should stick to private school competition. Not much luck with the AAA boys.
  5. It sure is impressive to score a lot of goals in a 17-1 win! (McMinn County 17, Bradley Central 1)

Georgia teams are reaching their peak because they get about a 6 week headstart on their seasons. Every team in Tennessee will be much better in late April than they are now. Comparing head-to-head scores with Tennessee and Georgia teams is misleading. The best Tennessee teams are as good, if not better, than the best Georgia teams every year. The Farragut teams of '03 & '04 were better than the best Georgia had to offer. Probably same for Bearden of '01 & '02. Definately true for Houston in'99 & '00. Farragut isn't what they have been, but don't read too much into comparing their scores with Georgia teams.
  7. dominate? Right on top of things, aren't you?
  8. Good lord. I may reply later, after you post a few more times.
  9. Since you started this so that you can read all about how good Farragut is, here is my reply, just to annoy you. I think Webb will dominate, winning 5-0!!!
  10. Donahue gets more out of his teams than anyone else could. Looks like it's personal with you. Your information isn't correct, anyways.
  11. "top teams in the world" ??? Good lord.
  12. Coach Plummer can play whoever he wants to play. He is the coach of a team that is successful year after year. He looks after his own team and his team only. If he doesn't want to play someone, he doesn't have to. Who cares what the reason is.

    Best Player

Eddie, are you posting from Julius' computer again?
  14. There are advantages and disadvantages if you play in a smaller town. It's probably easier to get noticed if you play in a smaller town. You won't have as much competition. The players in the bigger areas have so many others to contend with. Bottom line: If you are good enough, you will get noticed. If you didn't get recognized from a small town, you certainly wouldn't have gotten any recognition in a bigger soccer area.
  15. metsdude, been that way forever
  16. It took me a minute to get the "Mr. 2 posts" thing. I laughed out loud when I did.
  17. Div. II has usually been fairly weak. It hasn't taken much for a team with decent players to get to the finals.
  18. Farragut and McMinn County 2 top-ranked teams? yes, according to the latest poll 2 "top" teams? absolutely not Farragut is up there. McMinn Co. was probably the 6th best team in the AAA quarter-finals (ahead of Cordova and Blackman), and some good teams didn't even make it.
  19. I'd like to request more from the CBHS fans. I'm really enjoying going back and reading your brilliant posts.
  20. We may not see a few of you folks back here for a while.
  21. SIX goals on Central? Was that in one game or two? You shouldn't have admitted that. Nobody doubts that this guy is a good player/scorer. But you cast serious doubt about the accomplishments (scoring record?) when it's pointed out that SIX of the goals were scored against something called Central. When it was 5-0 (or worse if someone else scored goals), this guy was still scoring? The Science Hill coach and team has been under fire for the earlier rout, but at least it wasn't one guy. How many were scored against McMinn School for the Blind before the starters were pulled?
  22. I assume the game is at Drake's Creek. What time does it start?
  23. Farragut is good. Last year they were the best in the state (overall). But compared to the best teams in the state the last 4-5 years, they weren't nearly as good.
