The numbers are sent from the school to the State Dept then to TSSAA by the State.

The numbers are turned into the Tn Dept of Ed not the TSSAA.

I think the classes are released in October. Then teams get a week to move up. Then leagues are set in November.

Guys, no one is fudging numbers. It’s $10,000 a kid. It’s not something school systems will pass up.

Looks like 331 public teams which 83 teams per class. There are 3-5 schools that are unclear if they are basketball, baseball, and softball schools. And there are three teams with 383 enrollment so how do they deal with that. A Clinch(36)--East Robertson(381) AA Summertown, Hampton, Wartburg(383)--Giles County(700) AAA Dyersburg(702)-Lenoir City(1228) AAAA 1231 David Crockett(1231)--Collierville(2865) Obviously, there's some wiggle room here based on a few factors but I think this is pretty close.

Anderson, Clinton, Central, Fulton, Scott, Gibbs, Union, Carter, South Doyle, and maybe one other team brought in to make the two 3AAA districts around Knoxville.

It’s amazing that there’s 8 teams in this region when both of the Knoxville AAA districts have 8 teams per district.

Numbers will be in hand once the 20 day enrollments are submitted. These numbers affect federal funding so they are usually very accurate. Of course every district is starting at different times this year.

Sullivan County schools are consolidating next year I think. Will change numbers slightly.
