thats my boys! we finally beat Lavergbe. when i played thay had a kid named Chris Grimes...you allmight have heard of him. he was nearly unstoppable in high school. he ran for over 180 three times against us i think. oh well we had an awesome game it sounds like. good luck devils. ill be there to watch the blackman game next week.

in my opinion this is the week lebanon needs to be almost non-existent on the boards. there is nothing we can say to make this week any easier. if they really want to win this game....everyone probably needs to chill b/c it will just make riverdale more angry. they are an awesome team with tons of speed. not to mention coaching so it will be a very tough night for my Devils but i hope they make a strong showing. we had 2 years with slight chances to beat riverdale during my career and it still didnt even come close to happening. its alot harder than you think. i actually dont remember Lebanon ever beating Riverdale. Best of luck to Lebanon. Turn this program around.

how is lebanon's toughness and hitting looking this year? from what ive seen at practice they have a tough group of guys. any key injuries?

thank the lord we finally beat cookeville this year. i wasnt there and dont know what happened but a win is a win and my last game against cookeville was embarrasing. good job devils. i was at their first day of hitting and they looked to be about the toughest group ive ever seen at lebanon. does their toughnes show in the games? are their any injuries to lebanon right now?

wilson central truly isnt a slouch. i think its their jr. class that went undefeated as freshmen and they are alot bigger than lebanon as a rule b/c they get the home grown country boys and we get the city boys. i will give them props too b/c they are a wilson county team. but when i played i dont even think they scored. like 85-0 in 2 years...just thought i would add that.

24 to 8 is hardly struggling and they almost took out antioch which is supposed to be top 10 in all classes....with gods gift to middle tn football- Lamarcus cocher (or however you spell it). just go ahead and give that kid mr. football and send him on his way b/c he is really good. their whole team is awesome.

hey regin4fan...im back. not going to be posting too much but i will check out the pages every now and then. im still at school right now doing pretty well except for the fact my fraternity house was the one to burn down last week... anyways...im going to support my old team b/c i think they really can do something positive this year as opposed to my experience at lebanon when we could never do it in the clutch. i think bobby has one of the best offensive minds of a coach in the midstate. he made our horrible team my senior year a more then avg. team simply b/c of his play calling. the team has bought into his system this year and they are tough as nails. alot tougher than we were b/c we were used to not even practicing in pads everyday under moose. but we arent talking about that. coach brown has the kids that want to play and can play. all we lack is a burner like stewart, forrest and ross in the past. those guys that i played with always lit up the scoreboard. they are going to have to do it with team football but thats what bobby stresses. he is a players coach but means business on the field. practice and games. about the cursing i dont think that is a big deal at all. i would think my coach was a ###### if he didnt cuss a little bit. i wasnt around for the thefts last year but im sure it was just a prank and i cant say anything good about it...i guess they messed up. but as far as just absolutly ripping my team i dont agree with it at all. cookeville cant be counted out b/c huge, slow, lucky cavs always find some stupid way to make it close or whip us good. the 28-0 2 years ago was thanks to like 6 fumbles and a 260 pound beast of a fullback. i hated playing cookville. my fresh. year they won by a fumble on the goal line of a player about to score with less than a minute to go. oh well. they are a good team but have luck on their side. and when it comes to oakland...we always beat them no matter what and they always have the better team. that was my favorite rivalry game b/c the games were always so close and showed you what football was about. ok well i have work to do but thats my 2 cents. dont count on a ton of posts by me but if i look on here again i would prefer not seeing the whole message board being filled with posts slamming lebanon because positive things are coming and im excited when i hear about them. thumb cya region and good luck to oakland. i like them alot. hopefully we will all make the playoffs and the world will be a better place. riverdale is obviously unstoppable....and i dont care about any other teams...just glad i dont have to get my head beat in by smyrna b/c those guys used to kill me. #20

im starting to try to look on these boards a little more now that the devils are doing well so you might get to see more of me. for the remark made about me earlier i thank region4fan for backing me up b/c when i did get on the boards last year i acted like more of an adult than alot of grown men who get on this board. i cant remember if i was on here during the season or not. if i wa it was never to talk bad about the other team or talk smack but to commend our new coaching staff and thank players and fans for hard work. im glad no players are on here this year because my soph-juni. year, this board pretty much helped us lose games. its over now and i want to wish lebanon luck against a very good smyrna team. they have been the most underrated team ive ever played against. every year i played them they had at least 2 losses and maybe more but looked and played like a team that should be undefeated. i dont see how they ever lose. i have been harder than i ever have by a smyrna lineman. hope we can use our speed against their size and take it to them. even if wolke gets pressured throwing the ball he can run! he is like 6'3 210 so id watch out. hope the weather is good b/c for some reason the lebanon/ smyrna game has the WORST weather ever....like in 02' im sure someone remembers that crap. anyways good luck to my devils and i hope i can see them in the playoffs!

Congrats Lebanon to an awesome win over Oakland. they just cant beat us. i personally never lost to them. i wanna congratulate the whole team but hopefully they arent on the message boards like we used to be. Bobby knows better than that. i also wanna say congrats to coach brown and the whole staff. he is turning the program around. i havent been on here in quite a while but i want to give a shout out to my old buddy region4fan. remember me? im doing well in college right now and i miss getting on here but dont have the time. good luck lebanon and oakland b/c oakland is the only other high school team i care about besides my home team! hope fully i will be able to come see my guys in the PLAYOFFS!

hey bud im back. i havent been on here much obviously b/c im no longer a high school football player and have been busy doing other things but ive been on a little bit to check up on my team and what else is going on. i havent decided on a college yet but i will for sure not be playing football anymore. i dont think college could be anything like high school football and it would be even more like a job so its not for me. i had to quit baseball also because of my back and shoulder problems but ill be at the games supporting them also. i watch our team working out in the weight room and ive seen phenomenal improvements in their strength and especially their work ethic/leadership which was my biggest question. Lebanon is very athletic but very small. im anxious to see spring practice and see who is ready to hit somebody! hopefully i can make it to the oakland game and maybe finally meet you or something. thanks again for your nice comments. have a nice day 20

i agree with Link but not Meadows. he is nothing but i trash talker and is not all that good if you ask me. he is tough but not good. AJ Stewart is a great player alot of people dont know about. he has speed and quickness and is killer on special teams. he is getting much bigger than he was last year so watch out. Devin Adams has also put on close to 20 pounds so far also so watch out for them in Lebanon

i want to say congratulations to Travis for his scholarship b/c i got the pleasure to play football with him at American Legion Boys State. he is a tremendouse athlete and a great person also. travis will be a successful football player and person. good luck TV

hey fellas i havent been on in a while but i noticed you left out Lebanon as a tough opponent for you guys to play. i know lebanon is not a traditional power house or anything and we def. didnt even make the playoffs but as i remember we beat both of your teams last year and have defeated oakland the past three years and gave blackman problems 2 years ago. who knows what this year will hold (i am no longer a member of the team but they have my support) so good luck to everyone but dont count lebanon out.

Lebanon plays 15 every night. They play seniors through sophomores in all the teams. the three diff. teams are pretty balanced but the starting lineup has the 2 dominant scorers. Some nights the blue devils play 20 people but that is a "put em all in" situation. Lebanon keeps fresh players in to keep up the very fast pace of their game. i doubt any team plays 15 people a night and especially with 3 completely different squads.

hey region4fan, we had our team banquet tuesday and the region banquet wednesday. #72 got the senior award and the QB got MVP. They both deserved them and then #67 desrvingly got a $1000 scholarship from our booster club. I was pleased with the awards. Hope ya'll dont lose too many players where you can remain a competetive football team. Lebanon really enjoys the rivalry we have with oakland. I talked to coach moose at the banquet and he was sooo nice. he congratulated me several times. i was happy to see him and he looked real good. Mr. daniels was at my school when i was a fresh. and he was really good. he should make a good principal. bye.
