Hard to say that milan has the best coaching staff in west tn. I think that distinction belongs to Huntingdon. ONe key ingredient those states have.....all are among the most talent infested states in the U.S. Have you people ever seen a team with a joe bob QB who has a coach that believes he's going to run "the wave of the future" shotgun? Its better than watching the keystone cops. If you have talent you can run whatever you want and win as long as its coached. There are no magic offenses and i'd think you coaches surely know that. Mark this down.....As sure as the sun rises we'll be having this discussion about the option in a few more years, claiming its superiority. It all comes back around, nothing is new.

They would do well to bypass the big name and get them a young fellow (mind you not to young) who has head coaching experience, a family, and has been around a successful program. Theres too much talent down there to waste.

What has been the problem at Giles Co.? They seem to have the athletes, and somewhat of a tradition but just can't seem to turn the corner. What kind of coach will they be looking for? Will they go for the big name again and try to patch the dam with a band-aid or try to build a new dam? What do you folks from giles see happening? Just wondering what coach's are doing the most with the least of everything....facilites,support,equipment,players etc. I can't help but feel sorry for those guys in these type situations and wonder how they do it.

And if thats the case then its hello spread, goodbye playoffs and state championships.
