  1. I didn't really see us pulling one either but it was good to think big.
  2. I was just an innocent non bias bystander who was given great free seats tonight but was it just me or did the refs make several terrible calls in the 4th quarter? Every time the Siegel big man would block somebody it was a foul and somehow Whites Creek got away with at least one clear goaltend, if not more.
  3. Well old Chris Massero shocked me when he added Oklahoma to the 2006 schedule. As if the schedule wasn't already stocked with tough games OU will be another one for Big Blue. Here is the final schedule courtesy of goblueraiders.com. Aug 31 Florida International (SB) (ESPN+) Murfreesboro, TN 6 PM Sep 9 Maryland College Park, MD Sep 14 Tennessee Tech Murfreesboro, TN Sep 23 Oklahoma Norman, OK Sep 30 North Texas (SB) Denton, TX Oct 6 Louisville (N) (ESPN2) Nashville, TN (The Coliseum) 7 PM Oct 21 Louisiana-Monroe (SB) Monroe, LA Oct 28 Louisiana-Lafayette (SB) Lafayette, LA Nov 4 Florida Atlantic (SB) Murfreesboro, TN Nov 11 Arkansas State (SB) Jonesboro, AR Nov 18 South Carolina Columbia, SC Nov 25 Troy (SB) Murfreesboro, TN Dec 19 CUSA New Orleans Bowl New Orleans, LA 7 PM I was already booked to be at Maryland and South Carolina, now with Oklahoma it looks like I will be making a 3rd road trip. Looks like an exciting season of losing for us but maybe we can pull an (1) upset in one of these games.
  4. We still "get crunk" everywhere and even "bring crunk" with us sometimes.
  5. If Alexander plays the whole game it's not even close. He would have broke out eventually. Skins had a great second half though and should be tough again next year.
  6. Well Vandy announced their 2006 football schedule today that did not have MTSU on it as it once did. They dropped the Blue Raiders and picked up Big 10 powerhouse Michigan. I'm sure the wolverines are very happy to have Vandy on their schedule. I guess if I was Vandy I wouldn't want to lose 4 in a row to a SBC team either. Will the whooping Michigan puts on them make up for losing close to MT? The Michigan game puts them in the public spotlight but without Cutler it will be tough for them to even have a chance at .500 next year.
  7. Alexander definitely deserves this, where did Tiki finish?
  8. 1st Round Jaguars at Patriots (New England) Can't count the champs out yet Steelers at Bengals (Pittsburgh) Cinci has only beat one good team all year, Pitt. Redskins at Buccaneers (Washington) Probably the best game of the weekend Panthers at Giants (Carolina) Eli's luck runs out 2nd Round Steelers at Colts (Colts) Manning is too much for Polamalu Patriots at Broncos (Patriots) Still can't count the champs out Redskins at Seahawks (Seahawks) Alexander vs. Portis Carolina at Chicago (Chicago) I'm going with the D baby AFC Championship Patriots at Colts (Colts) I hate to count the champs out but I think it's the Colts year NFC Championship Chicago at Seattle (Seattle) Seahawks in a defenseive struggle SB 40 Seattle vs Indianapolis (Indy) Peyton brings the big one home baby and then demands a trade to the Rams bringing back the greatest show on turf.
  9. Flutie is a great guy, I'd love to see him get a ring this year.
  10. The reason Brown can't run the football is because he has no line and he gets hurt every other play. The reason Henry didn't run the football this year is because he wasn't given that much of a chance and he also screwed up doing drugs and missing those 4 games. Henry is a good RB.
  11. If they want a QB the definitely need to wait till next year, unless somehow they can get Leinart.
  12. I know not many people will agree with me on this but I think the Cards should sign Sammy. St. Louis loves him, I don't see him hitting 40 homeruns anymore but I think he could hit 25-30 a year and become a fan favorite once again.
  13. Adam Jones is a joke. Until he learns how to keep his mouth shut and act like the adult that he is he will be a wasted pick. Once he grows up he could be a very good player.
  14. I'm looking forward to us getting Rolen back. With him, Jimmy E, and Fat Albert we will still have one of the best lineups in the N.L. I'm still looking for a big FA pickup also.
  15. Hawk will be a beast, if my Rams can't get a good O-lineman I hope we can get him. And this just in, Hawk is dating Brady Quinn's sister.
  16. Ray Lewis is the most overrated player in the NFL.
  17. Here's my two cents: Reggie Bush is the best all around player in college football. He can catch, run, and return kicks. Leinart is the best QB, find something bad to say about his 37-1 record. The Texans do not need Bush. They need an OFFENSIVE LINE. Davis is a steady RB and with some blockers Carr might be able to stand up enough to throw some TD passes. New Orleans needs a QB so do they take Leinart? It wouldn't be a bad pick for them but I think it would almost take his pro career to the toilet straight away. Let the Danny Weurffel comparisons start now. I feel sorry for Matt already. Now your beloved Titans. Where do they begin? Many people are bitching about Steve McNair, are they a QB away from winning their division? NO. Just as the Texans, they have no O-Line, terrible secondary, and they radio guys are saying the only LB to be back next year will be Bullock. We're not even going to mention the awesome receiving corps. Vince Young will not be a good pro QB. Write that down. He did have a good bowl win LAST YEAR vs. Michigan but that's his only quality win. If he somehow beats USC I might change my opinion on him. But the point is the Titans do not need a QB. What should they do with the 3rd pick? I don't know, I haven't checked on the top linemen and db's yet but that is where I think they should go.
  18. I think he will be picked first if they have the pick but what is your reasoning behind him going to Dallas? I would much rather have him go to Dallas than go to NO and have his talent drowned and become another Heath Shular.
  19. Sanders will be one of the names mentioned in the MT job. I have heard that Lou Holtz's son (not sure who he is) is the top candidate and that a coordinator for Notre Dame is the #2 guy. I think we should go after Pete Carroll. I mean why would he want to stay at USC. What do they have there for him? A shot as going down as the coach of the best dynasty in college fb history? Who cares about that, we need him here. LOL We need a coach who can win the close games, Andy Mac couldn't do that.
  20. Jon-Micah Thomas Hill is gonna tear it up for Tullahoma this year.
  21. Any news on whether Spears took the job or not?
  22. Michael Creasy should have won it, he had mad game and was twice as good as Rico Ralston. I remember that one time he dunked in his face. Biff Rules!
