I say run it up,score all you can. Now I`m not saying leave your starters in the whole game but when your JV is in don`t stop trying to score, mix up the run and the pass,I don`t belive in ever stopping till the game is over. What I hate is to see the winning teams starters in against the losing teams JV.If I was coaching and saw that I would put my starters back in, if you want us to stop put your JV in.

How much of a difference make if we had a passing game,Parker Clement MUSTthrow more than the deep ball to TB.How many catches does the TE have? how many catches does Cody Cantrell have?how many times has parker thrown to the Running backs out in the flats? we must hit more WR`s than Tyler,I know he`s a great WR but evey Defense knows when we go back to pass its going deep to Tyler. If we don`t want to throw to the TE then we need to play with 2 WR.If the passing game gets going then and only then do Jeff Co have a chance to win state. I got a question do any of you think DB will go as far as they did last year if they play the same teams in the playoffs that they did last year. I don`t think they will survive Bearden,OR,and Jeff Co back to back. I think one of the three will get them in the playoffs. As far as the first game,I belive the turning point in the game was when we didn`t score the second TD,if we had gotten that the whole game would have been different.I got to give DB their props we couldn`t stop their offense,what amazes me is the Defense we ran against them the 4-4 was the wrong D to run,the 4-4 is to stop the run,as soon as we saw they weren`t going to run alot we should have switched to a 4-3 dropping back a safety. Maryville vs Brentwood Last year that would have been the game of the year,as far as moving to 5A I think they could have moved and been sucessful,they would have to changed the way the played,and I think that would hurt them.It would be great to see them move.I Just think that no matter what class they were in they would have been sucessful.

Parker clement will have to play alot better than he has been to beat West and DB.Remember last year,it took him a couple of games to get things going, that was because he didn`t really know the offense.this year is diffent,as of this week through he looks the same passing the ball as he did the first part of last year.The passing game and the secondary MUST IMPROVE if they do look out! we`re going a long way in the playoffs.By the way,the DB vs OR game will be just a fortaste of whats to come for DB.If booker and the other RB`s for OR run all over the DB defense,that just what will happen in the Jeff Co game.Thats the great thing about Jeff Co this year,a defense can`t just say "if we stop this guy we win" with Heff Co? if you TRY to stop scooter from getting to the corner Jeff will kill you up the middle,if you decide to stop the middle run,scoot will take one a long way,if you decide to stop the run completly tyler brown and Cody Cantrell will kill you over the top.Good luck trying to stop all three. The DB coach pulled some crap like that last year he didn`t give up film,he said their film got damaged between DB and Oak ridge. That was low,it was alright through we got the perfectlly fine tape from Oak ridge.
