Yeah, those areas got hit hard. I hope they can play, even if it is at opposing venues. If they can't then that is understandable. But as stated in previous threads, sometimes sports can be a great healer, even if it is just for a few hours

With the devastation that hit the area, will this game go on tonight? Will it even be able to be played? I know Hampton's field is, or at least was underwater. How has Cloudland fared through the storms? I know there are more important things going on in the area tonight that are bigger than football, and I pray for all of the areas affected. I just didn't know if this game would still happen. Sometimes, during big problems, sports can be a great uniter and help heal. Also, was there a thread on this and I have missed it? It just seems odd since this is usually a big rivalry game

It could get worse in areas soon. The areas below the Nolichucky dam are in danger right now as that dam is in danger of failing. Others dams in Eastern Tennessee/Western North Carolina are barely holding on right now as well.

It seems to have worked out well for Grace Baptist Academy to have played 8 man for a couple of seasons. I don't know how many teams there are or what travel would be like, but you have to think that a few more teams would generate interest. It might even encourage a few more home school teams to start up since they would be on a more level playing field

I don't get Innovation Academy's scheduling. Brentwood Academy? Bradley Central?

I listened to a lot of this one. A lot of hard hits. A lot of defense. Heading into the 4th it was 10-10. The Warriors fumbled on the 3 yard line. Indians drove down to the 22ish. Kicked the 39 yard field goal as time expired.
