That was a good Polk team and one of the most physical butt whoopings I’ve ever witnessed the Pirates take.

Oil little tidbit..Baylor’s kicker will finish his career playing in 4 state title games. 2 with the Pirates and 2 with the Red Raiders. The buzz around this game is special.

I would guarantee SP side will be completely filled and people standing around the field. I will be there early. Most will as well. Go Pirates!

The first game was a game of mistakes. Could have easily went the other way. I am hearing a possible 20k at this one with some HUGE coaching names in attendance.

I still think White wins it..but Jamarion reminds me of Al Wilson. He plays with so much passion and intensity. He’s a guy when opposing teams look across they think this guy could actually hurt me. Special player.

A couple of gentlemen sat behind me last night who were not locals. I overheard them several times saying “wow, you don’t find this everywhere.” So it made me think especially with Thanksgiving coming up what’s “this” they are referring to? In my opinion.. 1. Crowd support 2. Top knotch facilities 3. The pregame festivities (music, fireworks, bad company) 4. Consistency 5. Young men that are prepared for the next level if they wish to do so.

@The Drunken Sailorand that Jackson man mentioned it on the radio last night…but when you walked into the stadium you instantly observed a different swag and focus from this team. They were ready from the get go.

After watching the players dump Gatorade all on their coaches after I can tell that one meant a lot.
