How do Maplewood, Stratford, and White's Creek compare (generally) to Hillwood, Columbia, and Spring Hill?

White County started in approximately 1909-1910. Our first game was against Cookeville. They beat us.

I'd say that Joslin is the best out of the three. GRUDGINGLY.

White County vs. Cookeville, of course. Where else do you hear the phrase "Cavalier fans will be shot on sight"?

The last time Sparta beat Cookeville was waaay back in 1995. No idea about Crossville, I can't remember anything before those back-to-back fiftysomething to zero whompings from a couple of years ago.

Cookeville comes to Sparta on August 27, Week 1. Cumberland County comes to Sparta on September 24, Week 5. Hmm, you would think that they would stagger these games so we would get one home and one away each year. Never noticed that before. Did the Warrior Freshman beat Cookeville last year? I don't pay much attention, sadly. I don't think we'll be bad. Just not all that good. 4 or 5 wins should be about right.

White County looks to be around .500 again this season. But in 5-4A, that's not good enough to make the playoffs.

Cookeville will be good this year (boo.) Crossville will be borderline. Sparta will be around where they were last year, but still no playoffs.
