See I like posts like this giving USJ some credit while congratulating the home team. It is unbelievable to see the Milan fans using the word IF. Things like IF we had all of our db's healthy then it would have been different. You know IF USJ had absolute thoroughbreds toting the football or IF they had a big strong line then they would be unstoppable. USJ does not have these things and deal with it the only way that they can. You know players get injured all the time in football. That is just a part of the game. What I saw last night was a typical Milan team. Hard-nosed, tough, physical, and deep at the running back spot. I saw an entire town supporting their team which is always an incredible sight to see. Milan Bulldog fans are the best fans in West Tennessee no comparison. I also saw an undersized USJ team step in a difficult environment to play in and match the number two team in the state in 2A punch for punch. Last night was a spectacular game to watch. Loved seeing the differing offensive schemes. Milan punches you in the mouth and USJ has to finesse. Milan is a very classy team and I tip my hat to them. It was a joy seeing good sportsmanship between the teams. All I want is for the Milan fans to stop using IF when talking about the final outcome. Good job to both teams.

If USJ is as classless as you people say then USJ would have left Gant in for one batter in the 6th hit him with 87 in the earhole and then taken him out to match what they did to Petty. And why did they hit Petty? Did his homerun go too far? There is so much jealousy and A-Train is right why doesnt JCS or even Adamsville who is running there mouth give USJ what they deserve? It is because they cannot. Good luck to USJ in the tournament. Look forward to seeing you in Memphis.

Lets not forget about 1999. 27-24 USJ in OT. Then USJ comes out in the playoffs and rips them 40-18 in the playoffs. Just something for everyone to think about.

USJ-23 MC-12. USJ whipped Mcnairy up front and Browder had pressure all night. USJ's defense is for real. Josh Liles for USJ had 3 picks and MC passing attack was quite ineffective. Impressive win for USJ.

It will not be a blowout for any team. This one may come down to who has the ball last. I think USJ has the upper hand at QB as well as WR's. USJ will pull it out because of the big plays at the skill position. USJ 28 MC 21.

Yea it must have been D-II because Covington won it in 2-A in '99.

In 1999 USJ were State Champs.

They are pretty tough.

USJ got in 18.

USJ has beaten them 8-0 and 19-0.

If USJ does recruit then where are the 4.4's at wide reciever? Where are the 6'4" 300lb tackles? Where are the running backs who weigh 220 lbs but can run like a wideout? They dont have a 6'4" quarterback who can throw it 70 yards do they? If USJ was recruiting they might have a few of these that I have listed above. You people need to drop this whole recruiting thing because the only reason you say that is that number 1 USJ is private and number two they win. Mickey Marley and the rest of his coaching staff get the most out of their players.

Can anyone give me any insight on how USJ looks for next year. They lost their big play reciever last year and I was wondering who will fill that role for them. Thanks.

I find it so funny how USJ loses a game and now people say that they werent even good. USJ had a heck of a team this year but they just blew their opportunity this year. USJ doesnt even talk trash and put hundreds of posts on the message boards about how awesome they are like Rockwood does and Rockwood usually is two and out in the Spring Fling. But when you have won championships like USJ has over the past five years you have a big target on your back. Congratulations to Davidson Academy on winning the ballgame but it makes me sick to see people get on here and put USJ down. USJ will be back next year and hopefully the results will be different. But congrats to Davidson Academy.

People tend to forget that USJ has an excellent team just like JCS. USJ hasnt hit like they were capable of the first two times and played flat. They finally hit the ball and their pitching was great. Both USJ and JCS are great ball clubs.

USJ beat JCS 11-1. USJ's bats finally came alive and Colin Mcpeak pitched a heck of a game.

Yes the wall is down the left field line but in right its 380 down the line and not 310 so what is your point. I was just talking about the left field line.

Ok Fenway Park has a 37 foot wall so that is not a very good point. It's also 310 down the line.

Next time you are at JCS take a long look at right field. Kinda wierd. And JCS does have way more power than USJ and they are playing better than USJ but I would hope JCS does not underestimate USJ because any team with a Coach like Coach Carey and the big game experience of USJ is dangerous.
