In Unaka's last two games(North Greene, Johnson Co.) they have played pretty bad. Its just a good thing when you play bad you play a bad team.... If Unaka plays like they did last night, they will get blasted out of the gym Saturday night.

I hope Coach Chambers gets refs like C-Y so the Lady Huskies get scewed as bad as we did when we went down there.... Unaka-67 North Greene- 36

I would also hae to put on that list Jessica Osborn of Unaka. Almost a sure hit from behind the arc. Very quick as well.

I'm lost in the dark. What did Cloudland do that deserves an apoligy? Could someone please fill me in on the details.

Its T minus 14 days for our most anticapaited game of the year. Let me have your thoughts. Flossie, I started this thread so you, crazzyness, spinmoves, and others could "debate" this game without poluting other threads with your trash talking. Region Championship will be between Hancock Co. and Unaka.

Ya'll only beat us by 5.

They may very well play in state title games in a few years.... but until then, Cloudland"s girls can can set up a radio tower on top of Buck Mtn. and listen to the Lady Rangers play in the state tournament, and maybe win a few games insted of getting put out the in the first round.

Someone correct me if I am mistaking. You can play in 3 tournaments, and schedule 28 or 32 regular season games.

You right, Unaka is better than our record shows.... we have the ability, but we ain't playing as good as we can, so maybe we shouldn't be in the top ten yet.....

?........ I wouldn't exactly say a AAA team that "can take on any of yall chumps" beating a 1A school by 9 could be considered a spanking.

We stink at football?........ Who had the worst record in the county? Who was the only county team not to go to the play-offs?

About Cosby, I wasn't really impressed with them. Maybe they just had an off night, but they couldn't shoot, couldn't rebound, they didn't do much of anything.

Looks like the Bobcats are continueing there winning ways.... How mant points did baily have? It also apperes that Clarkrange is starting to improve. What do you think?

As much as I hate to admit it, that was Hancock Co. who got put out of the sub-state by Cosby. Unaka got put out the second round of the regionals by, guess who, Hancock Co.

Just last year, Coach Gordon of University High kicked a chair down the locker room stair-way, which almost hit one of our girls players... He also reportedly gave the Unaka student section a good look at his middle finger.

Lets face it, when you play at North Greene, you had better be at least 20 points better than them or the refs will take it away from you. Coaches Corner, at the half, the fouls were 11 to 1, in N.G. favor. Biased would not even begin to describe the refs. North Greene was shooting 1 and 1 4:37 into the first quarter. Unaka never got into 1 and 1 all night.... the game was close throughout; the largest lead North Greene had was nine near the end of the first half..... but I have to agree, the Ladies played down all night, the worst game they have played all season.

Unaka is having a good season so far, and they lose no one this year, so they will be even better next year.

Does J. Frank White have a gym, or do ya'll use LMU's gym?

Flossie, since I have found you in one of you "better" moods, I would like to ask you a question or two. First, is it really that bad in Roan Mtn.? From what I saw, and felt, some of you underclassmen were pretty good. I don't think there will ever be a 0-10 season at Cloudland. One more thing. I know its way to early, but I would like to modify you 1-A predictions: 1-Cloudland 2-Unaka 3-North Greene 4-Jelico 5-Cosby

When we played at Midway during the play-offs, it looked more like a golf course then a football field.

You must remember, Happy Valley beat Cloudland too..... I think our tough schedual will pay of in the long run, but right now, we are out of the "rythem" so to speak.

Jellico does have an awful field, espesialy when you have to travle four hours to play it as a conferance game. Its got crabs all over it too, or some kind of little bugs................ Chuckey-Doak has a pretty bad field too.

CamaroGirl, haven't heard from you in a while.......... I wish I could come, its for a great cause and it would be a great game. But we've got a game at Science Hill on Friday....Good Luck!
