  1. Wildcat82, you must have never read wingman's posts before. He is definitely not a Manchester supporter!
  2. Actually against Cumb Co he had 30 carries, 233 yards, and 2 tds. In the Cookeville game it was 23 carries, 148 yards, 1 td. If you don't like Jake's parents, and/or Coach Price, then attack them, but there's no reason to take things out on a player...whoever the player might be. Everyone has the right to their own opinion...whether you like Jake or not. Remember last year and everyone thought it was a fluke he got over 2,000 yards and that there would be "no way" he could do it again. Read the articles from last year and THIS year, every opponent's coach has stated "Stop Nunley." You can rest assured all the teams Coffee plays is trying to do just that. The good thing is, Coffee has more weapons this year and everyone keying on Jake frees them up...ask Franklin County!
  3. Del, was hoping to get to see you but of course you were busy and I don't go to the "other" side during a game...you know what I mean! We understand about the roster...you did a good job overall. By the way, Emily is not related to Major but her Dad and brothers were all kickers at Coffee before her. Good luck to Grundy...we appreciated the hospitality! Go Red Raiders!!
  4. Del, will you have food for us as we had for you last year? And don't forget to wear your hat-HA! Hoping for a great crowd and a even better game....GO RED RAIDERS!!! And by the way ERA, that wasn't players getting on the site...just some of our "over excited" fans.
  5. What a match up! This is high school football at its best! Should be a great crowd..hoping for lots of red and black in the stands (and on their feet)! Come early, enjoy the tailgating, make some noise and get ready for a great game. GO RED RAIDERS!
  6. One week, one game at a time. Stay focused on what's at hand. As we know, the game won't be won on this or any other web site...but on the FIELD. GO RED RAIDERS!!!
  7. Clueless about the team but know it all about tailgating? Whatever! Thought this was about high school football GAMES!
  8. So did they scrimmage Shelbyville or not?
  9. Enough of this "tailgating" talk. What about the game? Who will the "stars" be for Siegel? How did they do in their fall scrimmages? Everyone has been very quiet except for the talk after the Warren scrimmage. Never heard anyone mention how they did against Shelbyville - did they scrimmage or not?

    Coffee County

Coffee will probably have about 60-65 dressed out on Friday. Don't think the Freshmen are dressing out. The Raiders have worked very hard during the off season and fall and are ready to play a real game! The fans will be there to offer their support. Looking forward to a great night of football. GO RED RAIDERS!
  11. Coffee County has a person willing to make pictures at every practice, scrimmage, and game they have. Then he quickly gets home and sends them to Coacht. Thanks Mr. ?????, we appreciate your hard work! Go Red Raiders!
  12. Haven't been able to locate the results of several scrimmages held the last couple of days. Does anyone know anything about Blackmon/Franklin Co, Shelbyville/Siegel, Gallatin/Wilson Central?
  13. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Have known this family since Don came to TN to play ball at Tenn Tech. Good people!
  14. The Coffee County Red Raiders are looking for a scrimmage on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday of this week. If interested, please contact Coach Price at 931-728-1018 or 931-728-4583.
  15. Back to the topic, who are the 14 schools?
  16. Don't know about "reporting" but Smyrna was supposed to scrimmage at Coffee County yesterday, and they didn't.
  17. What are the penalities for teams that scrimmaged early? Rumor has it that some teams have been told they have to give up one of their scrimmages. What a penalty! Has anyone else heard this? (Sorry about the previous post...computer problem.)

    Seniors

Keep seeing posts about sophomores and upcoming juniors, what about the seniors on the teams. What kind of leadership can we expect from your team?
  19. For those who did/do follow Coffee Co Football, you know that the qb went down one week before the season started. A sophmore became the starting qb. Injuries were a factor on the team all year (just like most teams). Coffee did what they had to do to win. Remember, the whole coaching staff changed last year as well. (82cat) Say what you want, the TEAM played hard, did what was asked of them, and had SUCCESS...something they haven't had in a while. The Red Raiders have worked hard during the off season and are a better football team. Will they do more things this year? If you saw them in spring you know the answer is YES!
  20. Nunleys are not leaving Coffee County. Where did this info come from? Talking about a bad rumor...but to answer the question, if a family moves, their child would be eligible where ever they move to.
  21. While Nunley might have been the "go to" guy on the Coffee County football team last year, he is not the only threat. Just stopping Nunley may not be enough for opponents this year. The team is more balanced, experienced, and stronger than last year's.
  22. Overall the region will be more balanced than last year. With 5 teams easily having a chance to win the region. Someone will be fighting for the 4th position to make the playoffs which probably won't be decided till the very last week. It's hard to say at this point who has an edge, except for the fact until knocked off, Lincoln is still the team to beat.
