This sounds like what they are doing in Oklahoma in 6A. Last night Jenks High School beat Union for the 6A title. It was the 18th straight Class 6A football championship won by either Jenks or Union. There’s nothing like it in the history of Oklahoma high school football. Next year there will only be 16 teams in The largest class. This all started because a whole bunch of Hendersonville students had already foot cruised through the MHS student section stirring up trouble. Two female MHS students thought it would be a good idea to retaliate by walking through the HHS student section with a Maryville Helmet Logo flag. A male HHS student grabbed the flag and took it away from them. HHS drew first blood on this one. It was bad judgement on their part to stoop to HHS's level.

I have a question for Upperman. When I lived in Oklahoma, my kids attended Union Public Schools which was a 6A powerhouse in Oklahoma. The University of Miami threatened to sue Union High School because of merchandise sales of items with the "U" logo. Union worked out a deal with Miami where they pay $2,000 a year to the University for merchandising rights. Has this ever come up at Upperman?

I'm a Maryville fan/native who spent a few years in OK so I am familiar with the OSSAA playoff system. In OK the semifinals are at a neutral site. This year in 6A both are in the Tulsa Metro area and 3 of the 4 teams are from NE OK. Owasso vs. Norman North @ Union High School and Jenks vs. Union @ Broken Arrow High School. This is probably the wrong thread for all of this.

Google has the Middle School at the same location as the High School. So it is the Middle School that is behind the visitor's stands off of W. Thompson Lane?

Can visitors park at that elementary school and walk over to the visitors side of the stadium, or is it fenced off?

The recruiting garbage truck Nellie Belle made a recruiting trip to Nitro, WVA a few years back. I hear that trip was tough on the ole girl!
