You people in Marshall County had a very good staff and yet you decide to let them go because of some politcal problem. From what I have seen in the last 10 years is that Marshall County lets the tail wag the dog. Until you all find a solution for that you will always have problems. Good luck the rest of the year.

South Pittburg is too strong for Lookout Valley on a regular basis. Have they ever won in South Pitt? Talent is abundant in this little town and is only going to get better over the next few years. I certainly hope that everyone in town from the coaches on down harnesses this potential and makes a run for championships. Union City is going to be very tough in the playoffs. They can match So. Pitts speed very easily. They destroyed Lake Co. last week. Back to the subject at hand. Without Boyd in the area South Pitt should cruise to their area championship.

How is Coach Brewer doing in his second stint on the Mountain? I wish him the best of luck. How many players are out for football at Grundy?

Robinson should change sides of the ball in college and play outside linebacker. He has adequate cover skills and adequate speed to make the change.

South Pittsburg, Trousdale County, Union City, Mt. Pleasant, and a 3 letter school in the Nashville area.

Seems like a good guy. He hangs out with some really good folks. Having a good season?

Can you all keep him over in W. Tenn? If you have a good coach you had better do what you can to ensure that you have continuity in your program. I know here in Marion County they have a good coach and they put their money where their mouth is and made it very nice to be here in Jasper. People in Lake County might want to consider doing the same thing. Just a thought! Keep up the good work.

The young coach from Lake County seems to be doing a really good job of getting the kids at LC back out for football. What do you people in W. Tenn think of him? I understand that he is from over here in E.Tenn. Info?

I have to disagree with the earlier post. In my opinion Joe Lee's talk on defense was absurd at best. Not well thought out. Really an embarrassment to him as a coach. He is better than that....surely. He tried his best to cover some of it up with jokes. I really thought he was poor. The guy from Memphis on the other hand was well prepared and gave some stuff that we can use.

How many assistant coaches are you allowed? How many preparations do they have. Do they have an athletic period where they can lift and watch films. How many classes does the head coach have to teach. All of these things must be considered when taking a job. Info?

What type of support network does Cleveland have? IE-quarterback club, business involvement, etc... It takes more than players and a coach. It takes committment from the community as well as the administration of the school. I know that the players are there in Cleveland. Always have been, but do they have all the necessary ingredients to have a powerhouse? Info please.

johnny boy- what did you mean when you said not all of the players like him? I was under the assumption that they did like him. Info?

Why would Cleveland not go after a young coach like Lockerby if the position does indeed come open....Youth, experience, etc...Seems like a good fit. Is Danny Wilson still at Cleveland-info...

Is there any truth to the rumor that there will be a new football coach in Union City next year.

The people of Cleveland should go after hometown boy Ted Lockerby who is defensive coordinator at Tennessee Tech. He played at Bradley Co. and played at Tech and has done a great job as def. coordinator for 5 or 6 years now.

My hat is off to the young coach at Lake county. He has taken a program with a once proud tradition, but had fallen into the depths of ruin. He has turned a loser into a winner. Keep up the good work and good luck in the playoffs from east Tennessee!

Its a sad day in Cleveland then. Why are they not just dominant. The players are there. They have always been there. Benny Monroe had not problems fielding a team. Anwers....

I wish that North Jackson played someone from the valley, ie South Pittsburg or Marion. It would be such a good rivalry for each school. I dont think however that either team could hang with the speed and power of NJ.

I am surprised that there has not been more information on here for this big game this week. This is a big rivalry and not much is being said. Have people lost interest-If not why are they not on here...

I would like to know the situation as well. What is going on with all the kids quitting the team- Is this the direction of the town. It seems like such a nice place to live. Info please!

What a great game this will be. The oldest consecutive rivalry in the state of Tennessee. Two good staffs. I feel the better of the 2 is in Jasper. The athletes go to South PIttsburg, even though they are down. It is going to be a great one.
