Riverside, Camden Central, and Adamsville really hurt by realignment.

This might be one of the best 2nd round 2A match-ups this week. I'm going with RHS in a nip and tuck finish. Frostie's been in tight playoff games before and is very hard to beat.

Thanks DDaddy, I hope you're right. Y'all got it going on over there with the passing game this year at LC. I was impressed. The most I've ever seen them pass the other night.

What about the Loretto Mustangs going to the swamp at Riverside? Who will come out on top in this one? Loretto has had some close losses and I'm wondering if they are not better than their record. Frostie always has the River Cats ready for the playoffs so they might just be sitting ready. 80 degrees Friday with a low of 61. It should be a good night for football across the beautiful VOLUNTEER # 1 state.

In 1996 Camden went to Memphis Briarcrest as a 4 seed. Briarcrest was 10-0, #1 seed, and sitting at home. Camden pulled off the 27-13 upset over Hugh Freeze's team and went to Loretto the next week and got bounced. Still a good way to end the season after going through a tough region schedule. I know the 4's over 1's are far flung, but it can happen. Then later on they made a movie, and we went duck hunting. Our region was: Huntingdon, Trenton, Westview, UC, McKenzie, Halls, and Middleton. End of true story. Go Lions!

I knew there were problems early on when LC got our boys in the phone booth. Lewis Co., like KY, has always wanted a 10-7 like score. I hope RHS gets another shot at them.

Lewis Co. going to be hard, hard to beat over the next few years. They are just getting started with these young kids and the new coach.

That's scary, Lewis Co. able to pass. I've never seen that. This might shape up to be another slobber knocker between these two good teams. Riverside 34 - Lewis Co. 21 IMO If Riverside is healthy, if the refs stay out of it, and if the Panther bus can get over there in time for the boys to play.

Who do you have in this one? Riverside has rolled along after Huntingdon, and Lewis County is always hard to beat at home.

Coach Gray Man coaches them up as the season rolls along - another sign of good coach and his staff. I wish Riverside would play them in week 1 or 2. I'm still thinking Riverside at home by 9. Might be wrong. They upset my boys a couple/three years ago 7-0 down there in the rain and mud and water. Still....RHS in this hard fought game.

I've been against Huntingdon for fifty years and I have never heard one racial slur from any of their players, coaches, or fans - ever - in that time period. I just want to get to see Camden's program be competitive again, and play good games against teams like Union City and Huntingdon.

I hate to admit this, I mean really hate to, but this is the best announcer crew around this area. I was shocked the first time I heard them. They sound more like college announcers. Hat's off to the Huntingdon radio crew.

Frostie gonna shock the world but not this week. Frostie will be playing all 80 of his players. Be ready mom and pop, bring grandpa too, because even Eddie Munster will play this week.

Perez was out with knee surgery last year - his junior year. He got hurt in, either a pre-season scrimmage, or in the first game of the season. We're hoping he has a good year now that he is healthy. He is a solid running back with some good moves.

If it had to happen, I'm glad it happened early.
