  1. Looks like #3 Lewis Co. will be coming to #2 Camden for round one. Someone tell me if I'm wrong. If that happens, Camden will have its' largest crowd in school history.
  2. Camden 47, Adamsville 13 Huntingdon 27, Riverside 6 McKenze 24, Chester Co. 14
  3. Camden 47- Adamsville 13 Final, Camden moves on...........
  4. The bands are great, just keep them off the field!
  5. I don't ever agree with Cbarky on his smack talkin' but I think he knows quite a bit about region 5 AA and I think Lewis will win over Fairview in a close one. The deer stand man will be blowing his horn across the "tall woods." We have trouble in W. Tenn getting the region 5AA scores. Could some of you guys with free cell minutes call 96.5 radio in Parker's Crossroads and the scores will be broadcasted from Waverly to Memphis? There are certain people in W. TN very interested in the outcome of the Fairview/LC game and other 5AA scores too.
  6. I don't see anything wrong with the boys going and cheering for another team; it just shows they are into the playoffs. There are a lot worse things kids can be doing on a Friday night than cheering for another team to back into the playoffs. I've seen the Tennessee Titans cheer for other teams to back in. That's just football.

    2A playoffs

I really think it's too early to tell. A lot can happen over the next three weeks. Home field advantage is very important and there still can be several upsets. However any team that makes it through the Rural West Tenn. Burma Road will have a good chance in the Boro.
  8. I was thinking the same thing the other day about the "no single star" system. He has 6 good running backs to use. We have never had that many running backs at CHS at one time. He has three good quarterbacks. In the past we've been fortunate to have one good quarterback. We have never had this small amout of players who play both sides of the ball. There were hints of this team last year, but another year of growth and good coaching helped them even more. Even though we lost the playoff game last year (at Lewis Co.),it was the turning point for the program.
  9. After Lewis falling to Cheatham Co., I think it will be 1. Cheatham 4. Loretto and the Fairview/Lewis Co. game winner for 2nd place and a home field advantage. This is just my opionion, and I'm usually wrong.
  10. I hope this gets the McRebs back on track so they can get after Huntingdon and get back in the playoff picture. What do you think Reb Fans? It looks to me like 1. Huntingdon 2. Camden 3. and 4. are still up for grabs.
  11. I'd like to apologize to the Milan fans for picking Huntingdon over their dawgs this week. Boy was I ever wrong. I forgot it was October and Milan doesn't get serious until Oct. and Nov.

    AC Football

Moms and dads are not as good at coaching as coaches are at being parents. Don't put this kind of stuff on this site. That is not what this is for.
  13. That's not that much of an upset is it?
  14. Looks like W. Carroll still has the best record going in Carroll Co.
  15. Looks like Milan's right back in the mix. You can't keep a good program down.
  16. I'm disappointed in Waverly wimping on out of the playoff picture. I thought they could still make a run at 4th place - not now. It looks like Cheat. Co.,Fairview, Lewis Co. and Loretto will be the order. Or Lewis then Fairview.
  17. I agree with ekard except I don't think Riverside can pull it off at Hardin Co. and I'm picking Lewis Co. at home. Everybody has ruled the Panthers out too early. They can still make some noise with their deer stand horn.
  18. All American Boys, that's what they are Mikey!
  19. Some great pics. Thanks for putting them on. That was Yoder with the question mark.
  20. It's been only a decade since when? Since Trenton beat Milan? Go Stangs. Go Region 6 AA!
  21. Camden finishes up their regular season at home vs. Dyer Co. and Adamsville, and then on the road at Dresden and Chester Co. How will the Lions fare after this weeks loss to Huntingdon?
  22. That's true, but there was no "running it up" tonight in Camden. The state champs had a good fight on their hands. I think those two backs will be hard for anybody to stop. Huntingdon's qb doesn't get enough press either. He really impresses me with his stability in the ball handling dept. and accurate passing. But you have to admit, H'town doesn't usually go into the 4th stanza losing. They had to get their lunch boxes out to finish off the Lions tonight. And state champs or not, we ain't scared of the big bully on the block anymore!
  23. After seeing H'town defeat the Camden Lions, I don't think the Stangs will lose another regular season game. I think Huntingdon will beat Milan fairly bad this year. But, hey, I might be wrong. I thought Milan would demolish Trenton. I am really going to enjoy the jaw jabbing between the H'town fans and Bulldawg fans this week.
  24. My hat's off to the Huntingdon fans that attended the game at Camden tonight. They have, by far, the most class of any fans around. I guess they are accustomed to winning, expect to win, and tend not to run their mouths when they do win. It was Camden's most exciting game since the McKenzie game. Camden Stadium was rocking tonight! When the three Lion captains came out on the field before the game, the Camden crowd went nuts. I knew it was going to be big Camden fan night. The crowd was around 3500. The defending state champions did a good job tonight, and the Camden fans will look forward to game #2 in, what does Huntingdon call it, season #2?
  25. Camden has the best fans! Camden gets the biggest gate! Huntingdon horses help Camden have it's best crowd in years.$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for the Camden football program and CHS! See you again in a few weeks, Stangarooooos. Good job Lions! Keep up the good work. Tonight you were on the back bumper of the best 2A team in the state, and you pushed them hard into the fourth quarter.
