Yes I did. Thanks for clearing that up. Thats exactly what I meant. I remember the Haywood game. It was the WORST game I've EVER seen Westview play. It was horrible. I don't see that happening this year though.

In 03, Westview did lose the region, however they did play for a state title and the team that won the region didn't even get out of the first round. Region means nothing. But when you play for the gold ball that means everything.

Many teams can beat Westview but I don't think its a matter of can they beat Westview. Its a matter of WILL they beat Westview. I think if Westview continues to play good basketball then they will win the rest of their games and win the gold ball.

Theres already a topic about this already but i'll post regardless. Most likely Westview will win with Obion Central finishing 2nd. However I would like for Gibson Co. to finish 2nd.

I'm going to be the black horse on this one and say that Westview squeaks out a victory at home. You have to take into account the rivalry that exists between these two ball clubs. No matter who is the better team on paper when these two teams step onto the court the outcome is unpredictable. Look forward to an action packed-game.

I wouldn't necessarily say that AA is weak even though its not as strong as its been in years past. It's just a lot more even than it usually is. Howver I like Westview's chances of taking the gold ball home. I kinda have the feeling that two teams from 13AA will be competing for the gold ball in the state finals. That'd be one heck of a game. thumb

I'm looking for Westview to win both times around. Gibson Co. will play in both of those games if Roney doesn't return by that time. If Roney returns then Central will play in one of those games.

I like Gibson Co. but for some odd reason I have a feeling that they aren't going to be able to get the job done tonight. Obion Co. is totally different from the way they've been in the past. Definitely a lot more of a challenge. But hopefully they'll be able to pull off a win tonight.

This will definitely be a tough week for the tornadoes. Dyersburg will be looking for revenge and Westview always plays their best when they play against Union City. At this point the Chargers are undefeated in the district and so are the tornadoes. Should be a great game.

If both Roney and Bellamy would have played chances are they would have cancelled each other out anyway but without Weatherspoon this will be a tough game. I think Ricketts will step it up and the chargers pull out a tough victory on the road.

With Latoya out this game will be a lot tougher. But that just means we'll have to look for another way to score. The perimeter game looks like a good idea right now. However its defense that wins games and thats what caused the lady chargers to come up just a little bit short in the last game. This game will be won by defense. The team that has the best defense will win. Good luck tonight Westview.

I have only one word to say, pukebags.

The teams that Central has played as of late are not even in the same league as the teams that Westview has played, and will play. Westview will win this game. Especially since its a home game for the lady chargers. Look for the game to be good in the opening half. But when the final buzzer sounds the central fans will be glad its over.

I'm not thinking so. I'd hate to miss such a good matchup but I'm not thinking that I'm going to be there in time for that. I'm coming to Nashville for a little vacation but I won't arrive until the 19th. Perhaps I can pull some strings....we'll just have to see.
