Go Rebels , I hope they go all the way. I believe the Oneida boys could have went further, but not having Laxton hurt them. He, along with Josh Slaven are very under rated but they both could have been a bigger facter in thier season, especially Laxton if the offense would go to his side of the floor. but unfortunatly for some reason it didn't get over there much! mmmmmmmmmmm! wonder why! I have my own speculations that some players probably got coached at home!

Coalfields girls did a pretty good job, Scotts girls are much improved from a year ago. especially defenseivly. alot of hustle and hit the boards pretty good. Return of Amanda Goad really helps and new coach Eddie Kries. Nelson played good and so did Bobbi Silcox. Bradley did a good job and Ellis hit the game winning free throws. for scott to succeed she must play with more control and do what she is coached to do instead of trying to John Wayne it.

Huntsville and Oneida play for the right of the east tenn. small school championship what are your predictions. next week against either Harriman or cak who will win.

Could anyone tell me how scott is doing i hope they are getting it turned around, coach cash and coach lloyd seem to really care about the kids and program at scott also who are the top players.

It isn't all Nancy Braniums fault! she coaches hard and has a good asstant in Scott Cash, they do play hard but personally thier biggist problem is alot of the players get to much coaching at home and at the games. Come on when a player is more ubsessed with looking up in the stands to see what they did wrong other than looking at the sideline where their coaches are, something has to give unfortunatly it's allways the coach that pays the price. Let the coaches do the coaching and the parents be the biggist fans. as for newport, noway, for the rest i don,t know but one thing i can say WAY TO GO BLUE DEVILS.

I think the Highlanders can pull this one off if they play good defence and keep the Cougars off the boards and off balance. Jacob Miller will have to play better this game,better than he has the last two,but he will he has played consistant all year. Derek Boshears and Jordan jeffers will have to play good and Sam Phillips also. Graham Wilson and Brad Claborn will have to play tough defensively and get rebounds. and for all who knows anything about the roundball highlanders they have to get better at the freethrow line, not only for this game but for the Loudon game on Friday and the District Tourney comming up next week. In the small schools sub-sectional last night, the Huntsville Middle School Lady Bears beat Harriman, I was there but I don't remember the score seems like it was 29-21,but nevertheless huntsville moves on Tuesday night in Pigeon Forge at 8:45. GOOOOOO BEARS!

I didnot say or mean that you people at Fulton didnt support your school.you have a fine football team all I said was some of the fans talked to our kids and coaches kinda rough and as for how the coaches at Fulton treated us they were great and you all have a great facility. Coach Coatney,Coach Bob Black and they rest of the staff are good guys. They can't help what some of the fans and students say. They are a class act!

I really don't think you cats give enough credit to Scott! nevertheless, just keep talkin. Most of the time all that talking does is get you beat. as for the fans and how you are treated! you will not be treated any better any where than at Scott, they have good fans and they support thier team,and they treat you the way you want to be treated"like somebody." unlike other places like Fulton. Where I, personally heard students and adults slur profanities and obsene jesters at Scotts players and coaches when they were coming back to the field after halftime.

oneida and robbins are by far the to best teams in the region,but their are some good talent on all the teams in the county. I just hope that when their career is over in the middle schools that they will head on up to highlander country and start playing for the big red. Coach Sexton and his staff are turning things around and the players at scott come out and support the jr. highs and we should go out and support the big red and the warrrrrrr daddys, me personally Iam a seventh grader and play football and I cant wait til my eighth grade year but, I also cant wait til Iam a freshman so I can play for the big red.
