I do believe Weddle had 9 threes against Bolivar. No one will ever know how high Weddle's average could be because UC doesn't play against the nationally ranked teams like Bolivar. I really don't have the statistics but I am willing to bet that Weddle probably averages over 30 points against tough teams. O yeah, and Union City doesn't have that pipe line of publicity to the all mighty Jackson Sun.

It was nice to see South Fulton to stop the game and applaud.

People don't understand Weddle's abilities. He doesn't have his high scoring games against pushovers. He has his best games against the best teams. There is no definate way to stop him except not allowing him to get the ball. Sure you can guard him, but he shoots better with a hand in his face 5 feet from the arc fading away. Now, I can't sit here and say he's the best player in the state because I have seen every player in the state. However, I can say he is one of the best players in the state. Now how many people who have said that he isn't one the the best players in state have seen him play more than once?

The lose might be the best thing for Union City. Now they don't have the weight of the world on their shoulders. Union City will also not be ranked for awhile. This helped the football team. I also believe that if UC breaks that zone Humbolt used at the end of the game UC will win the next one. That was the main factor keeping UC from winning.

Weddle is a playmaker. I doubt any of yall remember his first high school game where he score 15 points and made the game winning shot in overtime to take the lead at the buzzer.

Weddle can drive the lane too. I bet he goes to a place like Murry State.

Many of the all state DB's are not the best DB's in the state. It's a position that gets screwed. Most All-State DB's are players who were good at other positions on offense but there wasn't any room left.

Does anyone know any season averages for UC? Quis's average?

I wans't there but the players told me that we (UC) shot poorly early in the game. If LC was shooting badly too then they would not have sniffed UC the whole game if UC would have been shooting well early.

Don't expect too much of a crowd from UC's students.(midterms week)

HA. Drew hayes wasn't even in the top three quarterbacks that UC saw. Dillehay, McDonald and Head were all better that Hayes but didn't have the passing stats like he did because their offenses were balanced. Brandon Springer is not close to any of these 4 quarterbacks much less Mr. Football Back because there's TC's UC's running backs which are better than Springer . He might break the top ten if he's lucky.

When was the last time Lake County made it deep in the playoffs? With 2 Div. 1 prospects and 2 other college prospects why can't Lake County make noise in recent years? Are the other players just that bad?

Wow, they must be good at basketball or baseball because it sure ain't football. Four college prospects on one team and Lake County still could't beat a quality team. YEAH RIGHT

You have got to be kiddin me if you think that JCS will win. They can not i repeat can NOT compete with Union City. Union City has one of the coldest defenses in the state. They don't have to depend on offense all of the time. They can get it done on offense and defense. It will be a good game but UC will come out on top.

Ooooo, that's right, you've seen both teams play.

FA has a better running quarter back but not nearly as good a passer as OC's.
