I can probly tell you why the kick got blocked and i wasn't even at the game and i don't know anyone that was.There's really nothing to it really, any one with decent speed and some guts can run around the right side of the line and block the kick. Franklin doesn't even attempt to block on the right side and both Centennial and Brentwood were able to capitalize on this flaw. If franklin doesn't want anymore kicks blocked maybe they should try and block around the edges better. David Campbell is a good kicker and he shouldn't miss any field goals.

I know you're talking but all i hear is blah, blah, blah...... you guys have been saying that for weeks and yet i still haven't seen it happen.

What about Steele picking up major chunks of yardage against a very well recruited BA team. I will admit BGA was young but i must also say that BA wsa not and Steele was still able to run well against them... 112 yards. This is only the second game....we'll see what you guys are saying come week 10.

Ahh... but that seems to be the problem...nobody can stop Steele. Not BA, not BGA. I'm sure that everybody will try and put 10 in the box against Centennial....go ahead.

Even though Franklin might not have the players that it did last year, it still has the coaches. They did an amazing job of completely changing EVERYTHING that they did on offense and defense. they came out with a two back set in the first half and then switched quarterbacks and went to a shotgun formation. I was quite impressed with the way Franklin was able to switch offensive schemes and still be effective. On defense they were unable to stop Gregory before half but came out in the second half with a new package and fire and were able to stop Gregory. Both teams did well for the first game but it seems that Franklin just out coached it's opponents.

Correction.....of the team...that team being BA. The decision was Coach Flatts and nobody elses. Gregory wanted to play tonight, but Flatt saaid no..tommorow. So Gregory proposed that we play tommorow at 2...still no. From what i've been told the decision to cancel is the home teams choice alone. Centennial and gregory had NO say whatsoever in the decision.Oh well...looks like i'm gonna watch franklin from the comfort of my home. goodnight, see you all tommorow.

I never thought that i would have to wear sunglasses on a rainy day. Oh well... i guess BA needed more practice cause that's where i heard they were at around 3:30. Anyways, even if they weren't practicing they were probly watching film from our practice or maybe going over the notes from their scouts that were at our practices. That doesn't matter though, I am sure that both teams will come out more fired up than before cause now they have to sit home and watch everybody else have all the fun.

you guys are quick to assume that Bates will be missed terribly. Bates WAS a key player but Centennial has about 20 seniors stepping in to take over. Bates was one man not thet entire team. I don't see centennial losing 5 games this year....maybe only 3. Brentwood and Franklin are definatly are going to be on the hit list regardless. Centennial will get over any mental block... i can personally guarantee that.

Both offenses seemed to struggle and both defenses seemed to be haus. All i can say is that Centennial's offense did need some work but with Senior right guard Travis Dumke out with a rolled ankle it made the o-line weaker.

your right, 15-0 run is all Franklin. I still can't believe that it even happened.guess i should have known better.

your right, i should lay off the officials. They did do a good job through most of the game. towards the end of the game the calls became a little shady but they went both ways and i guess that is fair.sorry for whinig so much.maybe im just a baby. If winning 4 games and losing 2 is a losing streak i think that i should have been informed. I thought that was winning but there must have been a meeting somewhere that someone didn't tell me about. -note to self- no more whining about the refs.

I gotta hand it to the Rebels, they got the job done. I remember sitting there at halftime thinking "man these guys dont stand a chance" but they came back. It stinks that we always get the short end of the stick when it comes to refs and cops. It did look like we were playing not to lose and that is exactly what we did. WE seemed to have this game put away but nothing is over until its over... ya think we would have learned from Brentwood. Oh well, it was a good game with bad refs and dumb cops but, hey what are ya gonna do right.Congrats on the win.

I fully expect that gym to be full... in fact i'm gonna get there early. I can't wait for this game. Everytime we play Franklin it is soo close and i can't stand the anticipation. One of my New years resolutions was not to talk trash so im not even gonna start cause really, this game could go either way. It should be extreamly entertaining to watch Jeff Barnes go up against Bryce all night. I hope that we don't get the same refs that we had against Hickman cause SHE blew the game. Hopefully Kevin Collins and Konrad are back on there 3 point game and this game should be really close.Hope to see everyone there... i know i will.

Hickman does deserve respect. They played hard and it didn't hurt to have a little help from the official. you guys hit everything from the 3 point line and we couldn't seem to hit anything. The reason that we yell like we do is because we know it gets under your skin. Thats what we're there for. Seigle has a good student section that does the exact same thing that we do..except with fewer people. We wouldn't do it if it didn't get to you. But you really don't have much room to talk cause you guys do the exact same thing.I assure you that we did not mean anything that we said literally.. at least not all of it.FHSrebel27 can tell you...that was nothing.But out of sportsmanship, respect,and,class,good game guys,you deserve it.

Your'e right, Seigle is not second rate and we should not make excuses. However what they saw that night was not Centennials student section. Our student section is better than what you saw that night. Im sure if you ask Blackman, and Franklin if our student section made a difference in the game and if we werent crazy they would prolly say that we did. I must commend Seigle on their efforts that night and congratulate their fans for being so die-hard. Just wanna let you know.

You know what i think. I think that seigle is a second rate team. I got on this post late so i dont really even know what you guys are talking about but what i do know is that the night befare Centennial played Siegle we played Franklin. In case you jokers dont know, Franklin is our cross town rival. Most students wasted their voices on the night before and really nobody even cared about Seigle and most didnt even know about the game. If you want to see our student section i personally invite you to come to the Franklin, Centennial rematch on Friday Feb. 13 at Franklin. If you have any questions about our student section then maybe you should show up. And yes i think that our assistant principal is a jerk and i wish that he would not have taken my dry-eraseboard and my megaphone because .... well i cant really say what i would have done. Oh yeah and if you think you guys are hardcore we have just the same kind of people on our side...but we have more. And, by the way, we played like crap that night. I have been to my fair share of bball games and that is the very worst we have ever played. we let down because it was the night after Franklin. Oh yeah "STOP YOUR WHINING"! -The kid in the black Russian hat.

Hold the phone! Centennial not multiple enough on offennse? What? Antioch barely even throws the ball! Centennail can at least drop back and throw the ball if they want to. Centennial and Antioch run the exact same defense, so there is no advantage there. just lin eup and play football

I can't believe you guys are even talking about who will win the DC vs Franklin game before Dicksin even plays Brentwood or Centennial. This whole topic could be null and void if DC losses to both Franklin and Centennial. I am udderly surprised. This match up is 2 weeks into the future. Alot can happen in 2 weeks. Heck, alot can happen in 5 seconds, so i wouldn't talk about this for to long b/c the future is a mysterious place.
