Such a typical arrogant American attitude. Actually, Americans are way behind European football. Real football is what Americans call soccer. What Americans call football is really not football. You see in soccer (football to the rest of the civilized and uncivilized world for that fact) you use your foot to kick the ball, which is the object of the game, so it is called football. In football (American style), obviously you use your foot to kick the ball every now and then, but the object is not to kick, it is to run. Football (Western World Style, except Mexico, Cananda, and South America) should be called Runningball. That makes more sense. Also, it does not take a lot game planning, training, etc... to play football (from here on out referred to as runningball to cut down on confusion). Runningball is quite simple. Get you some big guys in front and block for quick guys. How hard is that? To make it easier yet, every 3-8 seconds in runningball you go back to talk in a huddle. Wow, that takes a lot of endurance to play 3-8 seconds. Now don't get me wrong, i like runningball a whole hole lot, but football takes more endurance. Football is a great sport. FES should NOT be allowed to play football because they have an unfair advantage, but should be allowed to play runningball. Last thought, football is HUGE in the rest of the world, as many people come to a football game as comes to a NASCAR (go Rusty!) race in America.

A good head coach is worth 4 assistants. I good assistant is one who says "HOW HIGH" when the head coach says "JUMP" A good head coach will have assistants that do what he says. There are two types of peope, leaders and followers. A good assistant knows his role and he follows. Too many assistants try to get attention and backstab the head coach. I think that is what beaver15 was trying to say.

Hear is why I do NOT like wrestling. I appreciate any one who can get out in public and show what kind of package you have, but hear is why I do not like it. We had a kid when I was in high school (about 13 years ago) who was very large, big build, and not super athletic (but what fat kid is?). He went out for wrestling and the coach told em that he was just too fat (even for heavy weight division). So this kid, finally for once in his life, has some motivation to loose weight. I mean he REALLY gets into this wrestlling thing. It is a scene straight from VisonQuest. He starts running and running and running and running. Which is good, but then he starts to stop eatting. He is loosing weight weight by the dumptruck loads. Next thing you know girls start to notice him because he is not a fat slob anymore, Well this just motivates him even more. Now you can hear Madonna singing Crazy For You from Vision Quest as he is running. Girls like the new Albert. He gets down to around 155, easily lost 150 pounds in about 3 1/2 months. Hear was his problem. He has skin hanging off him like cocoons. Did ya see the episode of Extreme Make Over about 2 weeks ago. Well that was Albert (not really, but same type story). That is why wrestling is not liked by me. JMO. I think that is why it is not popular. How many other Alberts are there out there.

Rogers is only 5"10'. Now the boy has some ups like a 6"3'er but he is not that hieght. Also found out his forty time was only 4.65 and that was on asphlat, Lipscomb has lots of it on there campus, but is was one of those 'flying 40" times. H-town has a good shot at winning.
