How are the Dekalb Co. girls looking? How are they adjusting to their new coach and will they have a chance in arguably the toughest district in the state in AA?

How will Dekalb do in such a tough district? I know Coach Harrison and can honestly say that this team will be well-coached and play hard. Good luck!

Houston County's Mitchell and McMillan must be some terrific players. Because evidently, all they run is a slant. Mitchell catches it then runs a touchdown. Now , everyone knows the pass pattern, but still can't stop it. I think that makes them pretty darn good. Good luck Houston County against David Lipscomb.

Great job OC. Good luck against Brighton. It may be a better game than the last one. It is playoff time and you can't take anybody for granted. I think OC will win, but it may be closer than some want. Good luck to both teams.

Huntingdon in a laugher. They will score as many as they want. My guess: Huntingdon 42 Harpeth - 0. Huntingdon will have the pups in by the second quarter.

Northeast was one spot out of the playoffs in a tough region. They came on strong late, but came up short. They play tonite in Clarksville's Civitan Bowl vs. Rossview. NE will win big.

Good luck to both teams, but Lewis could be primed for an upset. I don't think that region 5AA is that tough. However, Lewis Co. does have some talent, especially with Sharp at qb, and one heck of a coaching staff. Bobby Sharp is as good as it gets in Tennessee. But Camden is well-coached and has some talented players themselves. If Camden can limit turnovers and play well defensively, then they could pull the upset. However, using logic, I will still say Lewis Co - 20 Camden - 14.

Good luck to both teams, but if Marion Co. can't stop the McMillan to Mitchell connection, then they will lose. Question: Is this the most successful qb-wr duo that Houston County has ever had? I know Daniel Meadow had some good targets when he played QB there.

OC is playing well, but that playoff monkey on their back is huge. I think that they have the team to break that curse. Kingsbury is a tough team, but I think if OC relaxes and plays mistake free football, then they can win. I know I am pulling for them. Good luck Rebels.

NE's high powered offense will not be stopped. Kordisch has his troops ready and they will win over Rossview 42-7.

Lewis - 35 Harpeth 14 Gann will be on his back most of the night. Sharp is too tough for LC. I wish both teams luck but common sense has to prevail.

Obion Central is on a roll and will win this one over Brighton 42-14.

Portland wins, but Dekalb will fight. Dekalb's best years are ahead of them. They have some new assistants that really bring some enthusiasm and knowledge to the team. If they stay around, Dekalb will be in good shape. Still, I say Portland - 28 Dekalb - 7.

Simple "jousting" is fine. I think most of this stuff is very funny. But someone threatened another's job. I think that is a little over the line. I still say Sycamore wins.

This should be a good game. Both programs are doing well. I like Camden because they are coming off an unexpected and embarrassing loss to Adamsville. They will be looking for some payback and the Dresden Lions stand in the way. But it will be close. Camden - 21 Dresden - 16.

Guys, calm down. Bashing on this forum is not a good thing, but I dare say that no one should lose their job over it. We have the First Amendment in this country that allows free speech. Now, unless something slanderous has been said and can be proven, nothing has been done wrong. I think that football should be played with class and sportsmanship and admit that the trash-talking on this forum should be kept at a minimum. But those people who talk trash should not be censored just because somebody doesn't like it. We have people on this board who use questionable judgment, but I don't think an opinion is enough to take a man's livelihood away. And if somebody does lose their job because of a post on this forum, then we have truly reached a new low.

How is this game looking? I know Humboldt is down a bit and OC is having a decent year. Is it going to be a blow-out or will Humboldt be able to stop the explosive Rebel offense?

You better get the Tornadoes now, because they will be back to form starting next year. Coach Fishel is a good coach. They are just having a down year. It happens. Look at Bruceton , Westview, and Humboldt. They are all great programs having a bad year. They will all be back. So for all you weaker teams that think you are somebody by beating these teams this year, watch out.

ClamClam has made many a poster eat his chowder, but not this time. The War Eagles of Sycamore will win by two touchdowns. You cannot compare Sycamore's schedule to Cheatham's. Sycamore plays tough AAA football, while Cheatham plays in probably the weakest region in AA.
