There were not many people that believed McNairy would not beat Hardin Co. in Savannah, but they got it done. McNairy's schedule had been weak in the first four games and there were questions about the team, but they came through with a great effort against the Tigers.
McNairy QB Blake Browder had an outstanding game with a school record 26 completions on 32 attempts and 242 yards. He and his father, Tommy Browder, had been involved in a wreck last Saturday, so there was a little extra meaning to this victory for their victory.
The Bobcats will be an underdog to Crockett Co. this week, but at least Earnest Williams can't play this year.
