Here are my predictions for the week. Cleveland 28 Brainerd 0 Central 14 Rhea County 28 Hixson 31 ER 14 if these things happen the standings will be like this RB 3-1 Cleveland 3-2 ER 3-2 Hixson 2-2 Rhea 2-2 Central 1-3 Brainerd 1-3 Basically eliminating Brainerd and Central.. The RB vs. ER game will be the regions biggest game next week..The other games are Central vs Hixson and Rhea vs. Brainerd

I dont know if this is a rumor or not but is it true that Central didnt even practice Monday or Tuesday?

This is suprising..Central has alot of talent and i was thoroughly suprised when they lost so many games to begin the season..But theyve just won 1 game by a last second field goal and ya'll are talking hosting a playoff game.. Central is one of the more talented teams in 4-4A but if just 1 swing of events in that game against Central and they would be out of the playoffs.. Now i believe they can make the playoffs but lets save the playoff talk until after this week.. The playoff picture will get a little bit clearer after this week.. Hixson vs. ER and Rhea County vs. Central are both big.. The loser of Rhea and Central probably wont make the playoffs and even if they do will be the 4 seed... A Hixson loss will put them into that same boat.. an ER win seals a spot for them..Should be 2 good games..Any predictions?

Oh come on now..Centrals offense is just terrible ..Theyre 2-5 ..They lost to Brainerd!...Theyll have to beat Rhea,Hixson and RB..All 3 of those teams can put some points up on the board ..The key game in the region this week is Hixson and East Ridge.

Region 4-4A -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- With all 3 region games last night being upsets here are the updated standings,with their remaining region games to the right Red Bank 3-1 East Ridge, Central East Ridge 3-1 Hixson, Red Bank Cleveland 2-2 Brainerd,Rhea County Hixson 1-2 East Ridge,Central,Brainerd Rhea County 1-2 Central,Brainerd,Cleveland Central 1-2 Rhea County,Hixson,Red Bank Brainerd 1-2 Cleveland,Rhea County,Hixson I'll go out on a limb and say Brainerd wont make the playoffs and probably wont win another region game. I also would have to predict Central wont make the playoffs because their 3 tough games remaining. Their Offense is bad and theyll probably have to win out to make the playoffs. That leaves 5 teams competing for 4 spots. Another win for ER or RB would wrap up a spot. Thats about all the guessing ill do because in this region thats all you can do is guess. I dont know terribly too much about teams outside of the Chattanooga area but this HAS to be one of the toughest regions top to bottom. Brainerd(the region bottom dweller) beat Central who beat Cleveland(wins region all the time.) So theres just know telling. I really like Hixson,Red Bank, and most of all Clevelands defenses in this region. In the 3 region games yesterday only 76 points were scored.

Hixson lost to Cleveland by 6 and was beating Rhea in the 4th and most of you picked one of those teams to win the region so i dont see how you can alread count Hixson out..the lost to Soddy by 9 and Baylor by 14..Hixson may go 5-0 the rest of the season like they almost did last year barring a late game collapse at Central. If they do they will be either the 2nd or 3rd seed in 4-4A

Swafford isnt hurt..he was held out of the Rhea game because he broke team rules

Hixson wasnt beaten badly by Rhea ..They were winning until the end of the 4th quarter

This was a great,exciting game..Hard fought both ways..Last year Rhea was a dirty team and this year they had much more class,I was impressed.. Corey Kaylor played lights out,without him Hixson wouldve won this game..Congrats Rhea

Soddy does have tremendous size and a good D but their speed is very average or below average..I dont know if they have the speed to run down players from OR,Hixson,or Ooltewah

I think this is a pretty big region game for this early in the season..Whoever wins this game has a pretty big advantage on the rest of the reason because both of these teams will probably make the playoffs..Do yall agree?

I agree with Ben ..Central's over rated and better pick it up before they dig a hole too deep to come out of in region play..Its a tough region and with the exception of Brainerd all teams are capable of putting in a great game and winning against anyone else in the region..Im tired of the ecuses ,Central needs to come out an win this game decisively..Their O is atrocious

Baylors size up front and Braswell will be too much for an always too small Boyd team..Last year Boyd won state and got beat pretty good by Baylor so the speration of the private school divisions is still very much present..Baylor by 13

2 weeks ago i wouldve predicted hixson in a landslide but since hixson was unimpressive against baylor and cleveland impressive against MO West ..Ill still go with Hixson but a closer finish.

Ok i know your biased since your screen name says so but thats ok..Fabry DID look terrible though..He underthrew about 3 balls on short hitch routes wwhen the SD line was no where near him..And one of his INT's was just a terrible decision..he dropped back didnt find anyone and just threw it up into the air(No SD rusher touched it either) then Soddy picked it off..I was for RB but like neither team so im unbiased i just simply thought Fabry played badly

ohh no i disagree with orr being player of the game..his WR's looked great an saved him..he once threw into triple coverage in the end zone an chris ricketts got the catch..he looked average to me while fabry looked terrible

I think Central is very fortunate to have an easy game this week to get a big win and some confidence going into the East Ridge game next week..Theyll win solidly but not huge..Maybe by about 21.

thats a pretty nice list but im sure there are some lineman deserving of the top 10 but i cant name a bunch off the top of my head either

Hixson returns alot of talent..Baylor lost alot,but has Braswell,whom i think is the best back in Chattanooga..But i think Hixson has the best all around back field in the area...Its also Baylors first game....It should be fun..Its on CSS by the way.. Hixson 35 Baylor 21
