Where are the rest of the games being played? Does the tournament stay at Lincoln Co?

When the kid acts like he did in this tournament, yes, it is deserving!!! If you do not want to be bashed then show some sportsmanship and character. Leaders get respect and praise. Classless immature babies get bashed!!!

It might be too many but it might not be. I agree with an earlier poster who said that sometimes it depends on the kid. However, I also agree with ksgovols in that if the T$$AA would make the rule it would take it out of the coach's and the kids hands. Like ks said, DO THE RIGHT THING! STEP UP FOR THE ATHLETES AND MAKE THE RULE

I'm no expert either but I know that my sons travel team Coach will not let a pitcher throw more that 80. I assume that he know what he is doing since he played Pro Baseball and he was a Pitcher. Sounds like a Coach wanting to win a little too bad!!!

I was at that game (i am at every game) and i can assure you that we had alot more than 50-75 people there. We are only 25 minutes from Murfreesboro and always take a good crowd. Im sorry but after being at Walker Valley on Monday night i must say this., Maybe it is because of the size of the arena in Murfreesboro. Walker Valley's gym makes it hard for anyone to hide. Please tell me that you guys fired the architect and the people who approved the building of your gym. I say that with no disrespect and i wish you guys good luck in the State.

I tried to warn you about replying to my post in that you would just make yourself look worse than you already have. Please go back and read what you wrote Siegel Grad. Your post is nothing but a rambling mess. Your use of the English language is even worse than your basketball knowledge. That said, Go Eagles!!! The game was exciting from start to finish but 55 is correct in that Siegel does not have the guard play to go too deep in a tournament that features teams that have really good guards. They lost because they have below average guards. Not a knock on the kids but you asked.

Why don't you do like your team and check out Grad!! Your comments continue to show that you know at the least, very little about the game. Your loyalty is admirable but your basketball IQ is, well, you have none. Good Luck next year. When i said a prayer for Lauren and her family this morning i also prayed that this might somehow bring the girls closer and help them to realize that it is not always about winning and losing but that it is about playing and competing in a sport that we all ( all meaning not just the Shelbyville team but ALL ) love. It is great to see the comments from fellow 8AAA teams on this site wishing Lauren and her family well. Let this be a reminder to us all that as much as we love our own teams, it is our responsibility to be role models to all of these Student Athletes and to show them that it is about ALL of the girls in this district and region and the entire state, not just the ones on our teams. GOOD LUCK TO ALL AND MOST OF ALL RIGHT NOW, GOOD LUCK TO LAUREN AND HER FAMILY!!!

I have seen the game film. I did not find it to be that interesting. My point is that like BBALL, this whole thing started at Coffee Co a few weeks back. It is nothing but a way for the Official ( i use that term loosely) to get back at Shelbyville for calling him out on doing a terrible job that night.

Good Points BBALLROCKS! It was obvious that the official who threw Twilley out made a knee jerk reaction with the ejection. It was an obvious foul on both players and a technical on Twilley but there were no grounds for the ejection. There is no doubt that the Shelbyville-Coffee Co. game several weeks ago was on this Official's mind as he wanted to get retribution for being turned in to the Supervisor of Officials for calling what is probably the worst game i have ever seen an Official call. As for the other Official who got into in with Coach Thomas as he was sitting on the bench before halftime. If you must talk to fans while working a game you need to quit. There is no excuse for talking to fans. If you feel that they are too aggressive have security throw them out of the gym. If not, shut up and call the game!!!

Saw him pitch last summer and he has a good arm but i doubt that he is throwing 90. He has alot of potential.

You might want to check with Community High School in Unionville. Some of my friends coach there and l know they have a couple of spots open. They haven't been able to fill them because there was a lack of teaching positions at the school, being a 7-12 school. They will have a new 9-12 school opening up in aug. of this year, so more teaching positions will be avaliable. They have only had football on the varsity level for three years and have improved each year in a very tough region. lt would be a great place for young coaches to make a name for themselves while helping coach Frost build a program.

I told coach Frost " The bigchief " said hi. He just laughed and told me to ask you if you can still figure your batting average while running to first base. I have enjoyed getting to know him and his family. Sounds like you know them too. They are doing a great job teaching and coaching at Community. Let 's hope they continue to help improve Community athletics.

Not sure what shirt burnig your talking about , I was at Community's run through practice and didn't see any shirt burning. However I did see a cornersville shirt hanging on the fence to remind the kids who was comming to town tomorrow night. The players left the field together and then ate together then watched their middle school game together. The shirt in Question was left hanging in the lockeroom. Once they finish their business then they may choose to burn it. So don't get to upset over your nice maroon shirt, it has not been burnt YET ! Lets get it on ! See you puppydawgs soon !

Community Vikings

What film have you seen ? Last year or scrimmages from this year ? Or have the coaches already trade film a week early ? I dont have any family playing, so Im not sure if the Community kids have seen any film on C'villes scrimmages. However I do know they have film from last year.

When and who did you see Community play? Stallings isn't even their best player. Community only has 27 players, but last I checked each team only put 11 on the field. This should be a good game and could be the start of a rivalry.

I"ll tell ya what my good ole buddy sidetrain told me about the Community- Columbia Academy scrimmage. The scrimmage was all 10 play series. CA took the ball first and moved the ball across the fifty within 6 plays only to have the drive end on an int. on play 10 on the community 25 yrd line. Community could only muster about 20 yrds. on their first 10 plays. The rest of the 10 play series CA got no further than the Community 40 yrd line. Community likewise the rest of the time got no further than the CA 25 yrd line. The scrimmage ended after about 60 plays each 0-0. Both teams were missing key players due to various reasons. Community only had 20 players and CA had about 30. Both teams seemed fairly physical and in good condition however the tempature was down with lower humidity ( thank God fall is around the corner). This was a good ole fashion defensive scrimmage with Community never turning the ball over and CA throwing 3 ints, and having lost 2 fumbles. Good luck to both teams this season. I am with you thatsafact. Please supply details. I have seen both of these teams play and while both are good, I would have to say that I would have expected MJ to win. Coffee Co. has been hot lately but I would consider MJ to be the better team. Give us the scoop!!!

I believe you are right. That or either thinking that you just have to walk on the field to win.
