  1. Congrats Allons Boys and Girls on winning the James C Haile State Tournament and the TNT State Championship...Boys Runner-Up in the TNT...and to all the players who made the All-Tourney and Honorable mention team!
  2. How nice of Coach Edward's to give his second best defender the night off and just guard Cates . Poor mr.devilfanatic. his son goes out of the game and from there on out, according to his post, he wasn't sure what happened and doesn't really care. Does everyone in Clay know how true a CLay County basketball fan he really is?????
  3. Who is he playing AAU for??..
  4. Is this the same team that Macon County beat??...
  5. yeah lets prove that Lipscomb was clearly the better team. uh, lipscomb was down by 3 at the end of the first quarter. lipscomb was down by 4 at half time. lipscomb was ahead by 2 at the end of the 3rd quarter. and lipscomb won by 3. yep.clearly they were better. hey madisonsquaregarden. I read the news stpry on the herald citizien and there wass neither team lead by more than six points. Sounds like Lipscomb was clearly the better team.
  6. No bash on Lipscomb. A classy bunch last night. but that call was PATHETIC!
  7. Thanks for the advice, but no thanks. It doesn't matter how much you search my posts and think you know who I am, you don't. Who said I was complaining. Did I write anything in the LA vs. Pickett thread that wasn't true? If so, point it out. I just wrote stats as the radio broadcast them. The only opinionated thing I said was that LA needs to stop fouling. Looks like we agree on that.
  8. I don't like being wrong.
  9. Speaking of officials.......Should've been at Pickett County tonight. Glad no one got hurt.
  10. Now, lets hear comments from Oneshot, tnhsfanvol10, and Gotmilk. Seems you guys were a little off on your predictions - okay - WAY off with your predictions. And tnhsfanvol10......looks like the past doesn't matter anymore, at least to Livingston Academy. You're not very convincing with the losing players argument. The 'other' team that LA lost to, besides Siegel, was Lebanon (81-77). It seems those losses are in the 'past'. At least to LA. Jtidwell was right about this sounding rough. Here are some interesting notes. -LA shot 4 free throws the first half. PC shot 19. -LA shot 24 total free throws. PC shot 38. -LA had 4 players foul out. PC had 1. -Total fouls: LA 34, PC 19.(looks like LA needs to stop fouling) Scoring for PC: Roddy 13, Gibson 11, Wright 9, Logan 5, Capps 3. Scoring for LA: Dunn 12, Ruble 11, Stover 10, Tyler Smith and McLearran 9, Ramsey 8, Matthews, Monday, and Todd Smith 5, Lander 2.
  11. I clearly said I wasn't comparing LA's players to Siegel's. My question was about each players importance to his team. I'll go with you and agree that Ramsey is at a higher level, but that wasn't my point. By the way, by the way these teams look in warmups - size and all - you wouldn't have thought LA would've score in double digits.
  12. I wonder, after you obviously took close note of the girls game, if you paid any attention to the officiating in the LA/Siegel boys game. I was also very physical. Did you think LA was able to reach and get away with slapping, occasionally hitting the ball? Did LA's big post players get away with pushing Siegel's forwards in the back, actually pushing them across the floor? As you mentioned about the girls game, I seem to remember (in the boys game) some of LA's players knocked to the floor and there was some arm hanging. Did you notice any of this? Surely you didn't drive all that way and not stay for both games.
  13. I think you are right. Not comparing any players from opposing teams, but I wonder if the player that Siegel was missing was any more important to Siegel than LA's missing players are important to LA. Just a thought.
  14. Harris may have a point. However, 92-70 isn't really indicative of the way this game went. Siegel led by 2 at the end of the first quarter and outscored LA by 13 in the second. LA outscored Siegel by 2 in the third quarter and siegel outscored LA 6 or 8 in the fourth. Siegel led by 12 at the end of the third quarter, and LA was still within 11 or 12 with four minutes left. Siegel is VERY good, but LA has a lot to look forward to considering they played with lots of freshmen and sophomores. I look for Siegel to make another run for the AAA Championship and Livingston Academy has a really bright future as well. I love LA's NO FEAR attitudes on the floor. They play some hard-nosed ball.
  15. The way I hear it there just weren't enough teams interested.
  16. and Ramsey for LA had 6. Lebanon's double figure scoring went like this: Britton Winfree 18 Nick Peyne 31 John Presley 15 Scoring by quarter 1st Lebanon 26 LA 19 2nd Lebanon 42 LA 41 3rd Lebanon 61 LA 57 Final Lebanon 81 LA 77
  17. Time of Possession LA 27:57 Fulton 20:03 Total Yards LA 189 Fulton 267
