How is the region looking this year? I know it's a long time away, but who will be our impacts at state this year? Maybe an OW for the state tournament this year out of West Tennessee?

plenty times after a tough match and an upestting loss, i grabbed my stuff ran to the back and threw a fit behind closed doors also. it is more respectful and you dont look like a moron in front of an entire tournament.

I see that Spain wrestled 145 at the state duals? is he looking for a chance of winning it at 145 instead?

i generally averaged around 35 to 40 matches a year. i was alwasy wanting more matches though. mat time is what the sport is all about. who wants to practice for 6 months and only have 30 matches? in reality, wrestlers get burned out from over practicing and not enough competition. college or high school level.

dustin has been having one heck of a year so far, but everyone wrestles better at nationals. im not counting him out, but nobody is just going to hand it to him at nationals.

what weight is that guy zach lee from cordova? 171? i heard he was doing well this year... is he region champion eligible? collierville wiht only 1 champ this year? looks like the region got tougher this year.

well coach he used to wrestle for CU a few years ago.. i wrestled him a few weeks ago when he was still around. he is one tough dude for being so small.. he will make great improvements for the SBA team. he knows how to train hard. tell him i said hello.

It has been a good 8 years (so i heard his teammates and crowd discussing). it didnt take long for the pin though.

that is for sure an upset.

mocco getting pinned was huge. he lost earlier in i belive the all star classic(preseason) to konrad as well. when mocco got tossed and pinned, the stands went insane. this was probably the second best match i saw from the weekend. the best had to have been esposito and true freshman dustin schlater. what an upset. esposito has lost i belive 3 matches so far this year.

drug tests dont happen because of the lack of money. most naia schools are private schools with smaller budgets. i have asked people at other naia schools and they all say the same thing.

that KNOX was actually kyle knox.. justins cousin. but no they dont drug test in NAIA.

congratulations to raymond dunning(adams state) on his big win this weekend at the university of indianapolis(midwest classic). he beat off a few top ranked guys on his way to winning the tournament and recieving OW. he wrestled tough the entire tournament.

The cumberland gym is way to tiny to use for this event. masterblaster has definitely never been there.

dont count out ben smith from houston at 160, or nate johnson at 103.

why are there so many Region X teams there?

staph and ringworm come from plenty of other places. ringworm can not kill you either. mat herpes is a pain, but isnt always contagious. and serious injuries dont normally happen do to the intense practice. that is one reason why wrestlers dont get seriopusly injured due to slams and headbutts and awkwards positions. practice makes our bodies tougher and can take more pain.
