east high, dont get ahead of yourselfs....you lost first round when you should have won. east has the abililty to win games, you guys just dont know how to win the big ones. beating west doesnt mean anything about going to state. you still have all the chatt. teams, knox teams, and johnson co. teams. not to mention the countless number of schools between those major points. try to win one game at a time rather than look ahead to west and greeneville

morristown west is class act, whoever says they arnt is dead wrong. the past 2 years they lost to maryville in the semi-finals and never once got dirty or tried to hurt a maryville player just because they lost the game. they always left with their heads high because they were one of only 4 teams that were privleged enough to play for a chance in the BCB at the 4A level. to maryville fans and friends....im sure anybody in the state would trade their starting job for a scout team position just to be able to play for GQ and his staff and to be able to win like yall do. also, dont get mad at people that get on here and say stuff....you must understand that everyone wanted to watch you guys slip up, especially after the posts that someone put up about yall being unbeatable. im sure it wasnt a true rebel fan that started that but, if you are a true rebel fan you would have posted on there that every team is beatable to make sure it didnt get out of hand...but it did because of a few bad apples.....every team has them GREAT season maryville, again GREAT game Mo'West, GET 'ER DONE cause we goin to the burro, cause we goin to the burro

game today, game tmrw....does it really matter?? no team has an advantage playing tmrw. maryville likes the field dry just like every other team. yall would prolly hurt more than west because west runs it up the middle most the time, maryville has the quick backs that cut left and right real fast. so nobody needs to jump on anybodys back

moweststar, quit running your mouth because they might just turn it around on west. on any given day a team can fall apart. the likelyness of it happening is small but remember what happened last year in the regular season. #1 vs. #2 and west totally fell apart. dont go crazy with your ideas. keep those to yourself. be glad we can all hide behind these screen names or we would all be screwd

There are 2 ways to get to mo'town that i know of. 1. Get on John Sevier Highway and go north (or east if thats what it is labeled as) and stay on that untill you get to 11-E (Andrew Johnson Highway) and take a right on it. stay on that untill you get into morristown. You will go a little way into town then you need to take a right on morris blvd. there is a walgreens, CVS, long john silvers and blockbuster on the four corners...cant miss it. Keep on that road and you will pass a burgerking on your left and a chevron on your right...after you pass chevron you should be able to see East High School....you can prolly see the glow from the stadium lights....and if all else fails, just fallow all the cars that have "blount" county tags, haha 2. Get on I-40 and fallow the other guys directions

there is no reason to look past this game (mo'west-maryville).....keep your head out of the clouds. that type of over confidence gets teams beat.

Seniors still left....I dont care if you play for maryville, hillsboro, morristown, fulton, riverdale, oak ridge, or anywhere else, set aside all petty differences that leave us arguing with each other week in and week out. Leave it ALL on the field, you will hear that 100 times from the moment you read this till kickoff friday night. I was a senior last year at morristown and i know for a fact that i didnt leave it all on the field. I couldnt, i didnt play....i never showed up to practice. My coaches worked with me but something just kept me from becomming something bigger than myself. but no feeling is worse than the last time you walk out of a locker room as a high school football player. you should always think this "all out, no doubt for 48 minutes" because when your 48 minutes is up and your not comming back next friday it hits you. Hits you harder than a ton of bricks. I am glad for one team...maryville seniors have not had to feel this feeling. i wish nobody had to feel it but im just here to tell all the seniors to play with everything you have friday night. if you hold just a little back you will always think "what if i...." and that feeling only makes it worse. every team left is capable of beating the other. nobody has an easy game this friday and thats why i am glad i played high school football in tennessee because its a work of art. so to all the seniors play all out, no doubt for 48 mintues. if you are a junior or a sophmore you need to play all out for 48 for the seniors.....because when you become one you will want the younger guys to step up for you too...good luck to EVERYONE friday night. this is why this is the greatest game on earth...nothing compares to the feeling.
