Bizazz, I watched the scrimmage and was indeed impressed. I don't recall a Rockwood team in recent years that came out for their first scrimmage so ready to play. It being the first game, Rockwood made their fair share of errors and mental mistakes, but overall played well and hit the ball well. Hack from Greenback was in attendance scouting Rockwood out. He was in the stands shaking in his boots!!! Right. Hack? You really can't tell how a season is going to unfold by watching one game, but I sure liked what I saw today. If they can keep improving from where they are now, without any setbacks, they should develop into a good team. RHSfan

Robert is recovering nicely from some back surgery and should be back in pitching form by the beginning of the season. Michael is coming along and should see some varsity playing time this season. RHSfan

Hack, We should be a decent team this year, we only lost one starter from last years team. Several team members will be in basketball until the season starts, so it may take us a while to get the ball rolling. We have a lot of talented players. If they play up to their potential, and play team ball, Rockwood should have a good team. BTW, congratulations on your signing with TWC! RHSfan

I feel if the proposed split (or whatever action is taken) affects a certain sport, then posters of that sports boards should be allowed to talk about how it will pertain to their individual sport rather than moving every single post that contains the word 'split' to the Public-Private debate. Silverpie and Ego, Maybe it would make more sense to allow individual sports to move classifications rather have to split public and private! If I am not mistaken, wasn't that part of your plan, Silverpie? Ego, your reply is exactly why I think a multiplier would be grossly unfair to the weaker privates. RHSfan

Ego, how many of these 'BEST' teams play in single A? The single A baseball teams don't play Farragut in post season play for a reason. If the single A privates played in a classification equal to their abilities, there would not be a public/private debate right now. RHSfan

EGO, just how many athletes do you think are attracted to single A public schools because of the free lunch program? RHSfan
