Remember IronGut that they have already said that the Gold/Silver Balls mean nothing. The only thing any rebel has talked about concerning balls is a reference to "nads" The Dawgs will be ready. Watch the turnovers and the penalties and we should be alright. Looking for a good game. I wonder how the Franklin field will be after all this rain goes through?

Nice screen name and welcome to the T. #66 is a very good player. I can assure you that our coaches know who he is and that we have to block him on every play. One of our offensive coaches thinks that #66 might be the best player on your team. He destroys the offensive scheme sometimes.

Welcome to the T with your first post Ms. Clayton. Let's all quit the he said/she said stuff. The game will be played and the Rebels will be ready and the Dogs will be ready. Both are well coached and both have great play makers. I do think we have more speed so I like the chances of the Bulldogs getting the victory again. However, we can't turn the ball over so many times. The first game that dropped punt was huge. Franklin may not have ever scored if not for that one. Anyways here's to both teams being injury free and to a Bulldog victory.

The focus is most certainly on the rebels. One game at a time now Bulldogs. We were lucky to come out on top the first time we went to Franklin. we had way too many turnovers. If we hold on to the ball this time I like our chances though.

Siegel will get easy win at over blown Dickson as they are no Clarksville school and my dawgs will beat Indy and we play again

Regular season is a nightmare to schedule now for a 5 team district. We had to get 5 non-district games and believe me NO ONE came running to fill those five spots. We end up with BGA, Olive Branch, Brentwood, Franklin, and Ravenwood. I know the T$$AA set it up for Rutherford and Williamson to only have 5 teams in district on purpose so we could play each other out of district but it took a long time to get some of those teams to agree to play. They are out looking for wins and don't want to play either.

I agree with this. The one's get seated first and then everyone else is seated. I just wish it wasn't overall record as first criteria unless all 6A played in 6A districts and 5A in 5A and so on. I think the T$$AA said if they only seat the ones then there was a chance that district winners and district runner ups could meet in the first round. Someone explain why we can't have 4 classes? If three is not enough then go to four or back to five like it was. 6 is ridiculous!

We played both teams and Franklin is much better than Brentwood, but Brentwood is more disciplined in what they do. Franklin wants to throw the ball to win and Brentwood wants to run the ball to win. Franklin makes way more mistakes with penalties and turnovers. I also believe the QB from Franklin is good but way over hyped. The Franklin Defense is better than the Brentwood Defense. All this being said I will say Franklin wins but I will not be surprised if too many penalties make for a Brentwood upset.

The one's should get seated first. if Alabam goes undefeated and loses to GA in the SEC championship then GA with a lesser record goes to the BCS bowl for the SEC. Winning your district should count. Problem I have BIG time is the way the districts are not even. It can't be all about overall record as teams like Dickson County in 6A beat NO one and get a home playoff game by beating up on 5A schools from Clarksville.

Also another mistake in Quad 3 If Overton is 8-2 and a district runner -up wouldn't they be the 5 and Franklin the 6 at 7-3? So Overton would go to Dickson and Franklin would go to Siegel. But I hope my Dawgs change that as well.

You are right. This is a great post. I just get fed up with what happens in the 6A brackets because that is what I follow. And by the way, I was at the T$$AA meeting when Henry County begged to stay at 5A. I remember all the coaches that were in the room listening to Henry County and I think Morristown complain that they got bumped up because of some smaller schools moving in classifications. We never thought the T$$AA would listen but they did.

That is because Dist 10 STINKS. Everyone knows Clarksville is for basketball not football. I am not taking anything away from the great team that you follow (I have not seen them but have read about them and have friends who have seen them and they say you are great). This is the problem with our stupid T$$AA. 6 classes make for a joke. In your district you have Dickson County who will be 8-2 and have one 6A win and they will get a home playoff game in the 6A playoffs. Them and Brighton are in the same boat and they were last year too and both got knocked out FIRST round. It is not right for teams to sit there and be allowed to rack up wins against lesser teams and it be used to qualify them for a playoff spot. This is the difference in getting to play at home or not. For example: let's say Dickson beat HC next week, they then would be 9-1 and be a possible #1 seed in the 6A bracket. NO SENSE AT ALL! Just T$$AA making sure it gets its $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

There is no way this is true. I mean over here in Rutherford we have heard that Clayton was going to stop coaching after this QB but no way he leaves Franklin for Hillsboro. If he wanted to keep coaching wouldn't he just stay where he is? I hate when people get on here and start rumors that simply are not true.
