the only thing more laughable than brutus reciting his middle school career record at happy valley, is one area basketball coach who counts his middle school wins on his high school record.........won't embarrass the poor man to say who it is. when you win in middle school, it's rarely because of great coaching. it's mostly because of very poor coaching on the other side and a talent gap. now in high school, when the gap isn't always so big, coaching becomes more of a factor....but i digress...........

What's up with Science Hill getting drilled 18-0 by Baylor. I know Baylor is probably pretty good and perhaps Science Hill didn't use its best pitcher, but geez....18-0???? That never happened when Bernie Young was there. Maybe all those idiots who thought he needed to be run off might be second-thinking that move. Then again, maybe not, because they were dumb enough to do it in the first place.

So any middle school coach who wins a championship "builds" a team, and all the poor high school coaches can do is hope to match their genius??? And besides, what did Brutus do to build that team? Did he coach them prior to them coming into middle school??? Were they not already the best team in the area at every level before coming into the mighty hands of Brutus??? Wouldn't it be more fair to say Pam and Bill Dick "built" that team, using your own logic. They were undefeated champions long before Brutus coached them. Why give him the credit?

osubrutus, since you seem to be a genius on every subject that is brought up on these message boards, I figured you would be the person to solve this problem.... If a nuclear-powered submarine is having problems with fuel efficiency, what could you diagram to change the relationship of the total flow compared with the per-second consumption. Consider that microscropic miscalculations could cause damage to the submarine and, over time, such damage could lead to disastrous consequences. Or since I doubt if anybody really wants your opinion on nuclear submarine management, perhaps you could quit acting like you know everything about every sports team in Carter County and quit criticizing every coach that doesn't do something the way you think it should be done. My guess is that you are wrong at least 50 percent of the time anyway, so solve at least half the problem by shutting your mouth -- or in this case, shut your fingers. otherwise, have a nice day. :justwrestle:

Lady, I am so glad you don't like me. It proves I'm on good footing. Why don't you create your own thread. Title it one of the following: 1. "Little old ladies who like to be chummy" 2. I guess I screwed up in December thinking the Lady Warriors would chop down the mighty Cyclones. They got it right this time. It was hilarious, too. To borrow a famous statement from Phil Simms -- Elizabethton's girls "laid down like dogs." And the really mighty Warriors took them down like zip and zap. I've pretty much remained silent for a while, only taking a few cheap shots at the Unaka Lady Clowns, but this is too hard to pass up. I have a few ideas to extend Elizabethton's postseason: 1. Kidnap Glen Fishir prior to the district tournament. 2. Convince Sparks and Weaver the district is being played at Hampton. 3. Find a way to only have to beat Johnson County to reach the distroct finals. 4. Play in class a District tpurnament. 5. Tell Farthing "The Green Berets" are on TV each night of the district. 6. Tell Wilson that the TSSAA has outlawed any defense other than a full-court press. 7. Recruit players from other teams in the district (oops, Elizabethton is already trying that one). 8. Clone Boffman and Red. Unclone every other player on the team. 9. Convince TSSAA to entact a no-toughness rule. Any form of physical contact inside the paint, including heavy breathing, results in a technical foul for the defense.

SECOND NOTICE SECOND SEMI-ANNUAL DEAD HORSE BEATING CONTEST RULES 1. Must be from Stoney Creek. 2. Must own, or have access to, a stick. 3.
