Precisely. How could anyone with an ounce of competitive nature in their body tell their team to "tone it down" or "take it easy" on the other team. That is absurd. You must play to win whether it is preseason or postseason. If they didn't want 100 points scored on them they should defend better. You can't take chances when there is a possibility of no tomorrow. Does anyone know where the substate will be played?

Bolivar played against Dyersburg earlier in the year and they ran the Vear, almost to perfection. Dyersburg roughed them up pretty good. But it was early in the year.

I believe he is good enough talent wise, but I feel the new offense may have hurt his stats and that is what it ultimately comes down to.

Does anyone have any updates/news regarding the game? Rather than trying to decide who is an avid supporter or "trash" talker or non-believer or whatever? I look for Dyersburg to win, but I see more of the "insanity" offense to occur. Insanity is defined as doing the same thing over and over and expect different results.

As a rule, Caldwell will have to sit. Congratulations to Beau, he played a great game. I don't think the loss of Caldwell will be that detrimental to the offense though. They are only losing about 4 touches a game with him being out. Hope they get things a little more together before next week.

Dyer County wins. Crockett will not be able to stop the high-powered passing game of Dyer County. Although, it could be close until the second half.

Seems to me that the Dyersburg offense has struggled more than just last week. But, it is apparent the offense is not going to change. They put Taylor in at QB and ran the I for one play last week and it was stuffed and then it was back to the Veer. But it's only one loss. DC got their's early in the season, Dyersburg at the latter part. The season is far from over and as long as they play together and rally around each other and not selfish ego's they should excel in the playoffs. Looking forward to DC/Dyersburg rematch. And to respond to the actual thread, Dyersburg will humble Covington.

I was informed that #21 Caldwell will no longer participate for the Trojans this year. Can anyone confirm that?

I am not cheering for Dyersburg, I will be there in orange. However, that is who I feel will win. Maybe there will be some crow laying around J.C. Sawyer after the game?

I told you earlier in the week I liked Dyer County by 6, even though I have yet to see them play because I have been following Dyersburg, but after the wet week paired with the running attack of Dyersburg I see Dyersburg winning 22- 12. And I will be in attendance.

They will be stronger at the skill positions next year, but will be losing key line positions and leadership. But, its all in how the talent is molded.

To elaborate on that, I have heard numerous times that the opposing team has called out the play DC is running. That is a sign of change I would think.

DC came out strong against Dyersburg, but seemed to fatigue after the half. I dont know the reasoning behind it, but maybe they can rebound this week. I still pick Ripley to win though.

Dyersburg is good, but they played sluggish in the first half against Dyer County. That is why they play two halves though. Dyersburg is very strong. Their conditioning was very impressive. I believe that they will get better as the season progresses.

It depends on how long Dyersburg allows their starters to play.

Dyer Co. didnt beat Obion. And, you are right, they will not beat Peabody. Mistakes and being one dimensional on offense is too much for DC right now. Once you stop beating yourself, is when you can concentrate on beating someone else.
