  1. Maybe you should have. But you're a (were?) coach, remember? You would never lie, cheat, steal or recruit (unless you're in DII) and you would ALWAYS be fair to your players. Coaches honor (wink-wink). LOL!! The time zone still don't make sense to me. I think the Easterners should have to change theirs and our time be the default. Heck, you're the inventor and you even live in Central time. But,...whatever.
  2. Has this question been asked before? Sorry if I missed it. Just curious. Makes no sense to me, but...
  3. LOL! He's been known to disrobe during a game. No biggie. I guess he just gets too hot. It takes a lot of energy callin' all those timeouts.
  4. Is he naked yet? He IS a crazy, control-freak, winner, with the operative word being 'WINNER!'
  5. Strange indeed! However, if only this game was played AT Temple, maybe they'd have pulled it out...or had the usual help of 3 other guys ( ). 5 will never beat 8!
  6. Good one! thumb The saggin'-to-intellect ratio. Way to quantify it. LOL!
  7. Good luck to Pitto, Duke and Lackey for Ezell, and Ferrell, Hobgood and Sikes for CPA. All good guys and great competitors. You've worked hard and deserve to be here. I don't care if you're 0fer, keep shootin'! Should be an excellent game with good ballers on both sides. I'll pick CPA in a close one for one reason: Coaching. Check that. I mean Sikes.
  8. Say what? Sagger!! Amen, brutha Del! Hang wif 'em! thumb PS - Zack Frey, I'll bet you'd have scored more last night if you wasn't fightin' your saggin' shorts the whole game. Coach ought to take care of it since you won't.
  9. Now you KNOW nobody in the 'hood is going to steal a Greenbrier vehicle. PLEEZE!
  10. Good one! thumb What would be really cool is if we play again, the coaches could beat each other up instead of the kids.
  11. Pleeze! Your memory is fading...fast (no pun intended ). Just one rebuttal: Ryan Brewer, 5'10", 210lbs., white boy, Tailback/Slot Receiver, South Carolina Gamecocks, 1999 - 2002. Tough as nails and a very big heart! Bet his speed increased after he arrived in Columbia. thumb
  12. Can you make the farmer 'lean?' LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Yakboy, I've been quiet about what GP did to y'all at home (surprised me, too!) and I hope y'all win tonight. Ezell reminds me of us last year, a little bit: Talent at every position, but can't win the big ones. Reason: Coaching...or OVER-coaching. Don't y'all know that coaches who come from Friendship are crazy, ego-maniacs? Who hires these guys anyway? Players aren't perfect, like some coaches (again ), and gettin' yelled at like a dog on every bad play, even when the effort is there, blows the 'chemistry.' As with us last year, Ezell should be ashamed if they don't make State with the talent God has blessed them with this year. Good luck tonight and down the stretch!
  14. Maybe he don't think your tractor's sexy...or has dubs hung off on it! thumb
  15. Did I say 20+? Ooops! Keypunch error. I meant 30+. Oh, and Bombboy, it's 2005. Get a new cheer. That 'walk' thang ain't workin' anymore. Do you even go to any of the games? Looooooozer!
  16. This is BASKETBALL coverage by the Tennessean, not football. Are you crazy?
  17. LeeRoy said and I quote: "Take note of the question and answer accordingly, please." Are ya 'at utk at the moment' as a student? How'd ya get in? Quit, you're making us look bad. What a goob!
  18. If Doc will let his horses run, MLK by 20+. If he chooses to play 'chess,' it'll be low scoring and close.
  19. Are you sure this wasn't a Goodpasture vs. FRA score a couple of years ago? You know, Edwards vs. Tackett, not team vs. team? lol
  20. Great post! Giving encouragement doesn't cost you anything (unless you're the jealous- or selfish-type), but it can make a difference in those receiving it.
  21. He made it! Coach Harris I believe you got a good one (really 2 on the same day, counting Mr. Springer). Congratulations, Eric. Keep playin' hard and good luck at Trevecca next year.
  22. From what I saw, Coach Insell is a tough AND caring coach (he said, "I'd rather have Sam pass her math competency test than win a state title"). The girls featured really did appear to feel the weight of a competent mentor that pushes them to their limits...kind of like real life. And in the end they were State Champions! Great story. ESPN should pick it up (don't they already have a feature they call "The Season?"). I was very impressed with 'little' Sam. How did God put such a big heart in such a small body? Oh yeah, one more thing: Jealousy really doesn't accomplish much, unless you're the one that's jealous!
  23. That's it, moosey. Only answer 'part' of the question. You're not sure...about their record? Yeah, right!! WHO HAVE THEY PLAYED? Haaaa, ha, ha, haaaaa.
  24. Yeah, I've noticed where your school dominates (NOT!), but in what sport??? Coach Estep says Hey! As for your second question, yeah, you've got him pegged. But, if you were a REAL coach yourself, you would be practicin' (you KNOW you need it) instead of mouthin' on this board.
  25. Give it up, Logan. You're on the team, dude. You SHOULD know! Come on!!
