LOOK WHO IT IS...............Mr....nobody who has nothin else better to do than to get on and look at what gibson county is up too.............why do u keep up with us so much.........why worry about if u kno were just gona go to the buro and blow it......if u think we are that bad then why waste ur time on here tellin us...........just let it happen.......if i was that confident about somethin i wouldnt waste my time, i wud let the people run there mouths and when time came i wud say what had to be said...........wut i think is you kno that deep down if this gc team plays like they can and are clickin at the right time then theyll can go a very long ways..........or else you wudnt say nething............why run your mouth?????who knows.........definately not me, i just get on kno to see how teams are doin and i gotta see where some guy who names himself after one of the worst sports ever played .........let us do what we do here in west tn and when time comes and if we get to the buro lets see what happens, if history repeats its self then fine......but if we come in and are clickin and doin everything right and we win..........i better see you on here givin congrats and all.............im betting that you will run in to your lil cubby hole up in ur mountain shack or out in ur out house since you prolly dont have runnin water up in the STICKS and hide out till andy roddick starts playin again..............

I played at gibson county from 98-02..startd junior and senior year as QB......started safety my junior year........and yes......my senior year startd the O-forever stint they went on.......its not because we didnt want to win tho.............

i kno that this new classification put sum teams up because of the size of the school. i pretty sure there are sum of the teams that got moved up dont belong there as well as sum teams that got moved down that should be playin up talent wise.... this could affect alot of teams cause there could be a really good team thats playin in a easy region compared to what they should be playin in

this is interseting...GC and Trenton used to be like this....we didnt go as far as to spray paint stuff on buildings but i can remember stuff bein sprayd on our sidelines...... i rememebr sum guys also puttin cups in the fence at the field n trenton....all this stuff is stupid when u think about it but it just makes the game that much better cause in the end sumone always looks stupid for sayin stuff and then gettin spankd.. i duno about bein kickd out of school or jail time but keepin them out of the games or sumthin like that would sound ok...if it were sum players then they would be in excellent shape cum december

how many people are gona be suprisd when they here GCs up by a score or two at half time??? im thinkin this could happen......theres alot of crap talkin from both sides... i just want to see GC get the respect they deserve cause they go out and work just as hard as milan, huntingdon and any other team in the region or for the state for that matter.......just dpends on how u take the practice and if u are serious when it comes game time....this years GC is alot more focused in years past...i think argo has done a great job on gettin GC to where they are right now. sum of u guys think just cause u have won 5 or more games a year for so long that if u dont do that u stink...ive played with sum great atheletes from GC and we would win maybe 2 games a year...i dont fault the players tho......we played the way that everything went on and off the practice field. there are to many people in the school worried about other stuff and for a while didnt respect the football team. i can remember playin the first half and comin out and half n the only people in the stands were the parenst of the players.... GC isnt a football school, like sum one said earlier, its always been just girls basketball and the band, now the football team is steppin up and i think things will change....whens the last time u heard sumthin bout milans band or huntingdons band...i rest my case...their priorities are in the right order

i saw were sumone said sumthin bout gcs loosing streak...i was apart of it. why bring up stuff like that....thats the past no one cares. gcs startin to win sum games and u have to go back to when we were havin hard times winnin in 3A ball.. not even three a ball. we played lower teams, just couldnt get things goin. now we do and u gota flash our past back up...just beacuse u go to milan and set on the sideline while ur watch other guys get the job done doesnt give u the ability to talk about gcs past... milan has great tradition every one knows that... but guess what...that was in the past too.... friday night when those players step out on the field its not gona be a battle of the pasts...its gona be a battle of who wants it more that night....ill be there and ill be goin for gc.....MAY THE BEST TEAM WIN

i dont kno ne names off the top of my head cause i got hit hard alot.... covington had some i kno.. almost every game i played in i was hit REALLY HARD but.... the game that sticks out in my mind would be in 1999 GC went to melrose but played carver in a playoff game........... we had about three players get injured on one play on our kick-off....it was after we scored. now i know yall are thinkin big deal...but whenwe saw the film they all were some hard hits.

HMMMMM... im hearin two stories here, people who have sat milan play are sayin GC can beat em and they arent that good...... i mean i dont know who to believe. i kno that if sumone is sayin GC can beat em and they aint from GC then sumthins up. not sayin its a gurantee W for gc. ntohins guranteed till the end of the 4th. BUT......... i do kno that this bunch of kids at gc aint givin up on nothin.....i have heard that the one linebacker is D1 material but i havent heard nething else out of ne of the players....except they arent as good as the past years......im gona go with GC on this one tho.....i got GC winnin by at least 1 td. these guys are cumin out and playin ball like GC hasnt done since 1998.( first year to win a playoff game) and they impressed some people that year just like theyve started out.......GIVE EM A CHANCE...SEE WHAT THEY CAN DO B4 U COUNT EM OUT

what i meant was that u have a team who hasnt won the first two games of the season in a very very long time much less 2 in a row. like sum one said in a earlier post the games are much much harder and the GC pioneers are gona have to step up one more noch and get another big win next week.. ill be at this one...

Gibson Co. is startin off to a great year so far....... gota finish wat they started against halls n theyll be 2-0. shouldnt get a big head tho cause there are a lot more tougher games to go. there are sum great players on this team they just have to stay humbled and like i said dont let this one and maybe 2 wins get to there heads. these are obviously two teams that are weaker than a westview or milan. im predictin GC goes at least 5 hundred this year tho. GOOD LUCK GUYS...

this is interesting, a six foot seven inch seventh grader??? does she have ne coordination?? another question, does she have ne meat on her bones?? shes definitly gona dominate the boards and alot of teams in her career.

I DUNO WHEN BUT I KNOW GIBSON COUNTY WAS IN THE MIX AROUND THEN WHEN TIFFANY ADKINS WAS A SENIOR OR JUNIOR. CANT REMEMBER WHEN BUT I DO REMEMBER GOIN AND WATCHIN HER PLAY UP THERE I DO BELIEVE??

im sure that some of these gurls are good in there way, but there is no reason for kaitlin dudley not being on any of these lists. not takin nehting away from ne of the other gurls but, seriously. the gurl is good. just because she goes to gibson county and they dont have a gold ball or two in their trophy cases and gc always makes it to state and gets beat in the first round shouldnt take away the fact that we have one of the best female atheletes in the state. im sure cait mcmahon and the gurl from craigmont are some really good atheletes. and im sure in there little part of tn the other gurls are. if u would watch kaitlin play you would see that she is good. and i believe that if she doesnt win a ms basketball this year or next year then there is something wrong with the voting system

I dont see a win friday night. it just aint gonna happen. IT WOULD BE COOL THO. really thought gc was gonna get blew out in the first quarter against DC but they did sumthin that no gc team has done in a couple of years and fought back and almost got a W. if #10 had some gloves on or some stickem on his hands the streak would be over. things happen and u go on tho. the streak will end one of these days. heck de la salle in cali lost there first game since the seniors playin now were in kindergarden. WOW i think it was 151 or somewhere in that range. gcs wont go that far but it might get ugly if they dont pull one off against st benedict. right now gc is 0-32. look at it this way. next year they will be 2a and they will have there QB (junior this year) their RB(fresh this year)- who should be startin this year but isnt. who knows y. and alot of there O-line and D-line will be back. they are young. im not predictin a undefeated season or nething but give them time. they will come around. ONE OF THESE DAYS????

I have been watching Gibson Co. for the past few years, The team is coming togeather...It would be really nice if the fans would stay to support the team(win or lose) instead of leaving after the band puts on their little show.Stop and think how the guys feel when they look up and see alsmost nothing. They think why bother. Also, need a good booster club or quarterback club to support also. Keep the faith guys the win will come. i can remember every game after my junior year and i can rememeber there being over 800 or more fans n the stands b4 half time and after the half and we came back out of the locker room the fans were gone. and for Pioneer Fan i think its good for Farmer to go in the locker room and comfort them in their loss and all but ill leave that up for him. noone did that for us my senior year. no one seemed to care then. I want the pioneers to break the streak. i hope they do it at home next wk against dyer co. that would be awesome but sometimes u have to stop and think of how people act on and OFF THE FIELD. i remeber the last game of my career at gc and i remeber a parent of one of the players cusssing me out fromthe sidelines. how would that make u feel when its ur last HS game at GC and u have a parent cuss u out cause u had a bad exchange from the center and there was maybe a min left in the game and u were already loosing by 40 pts. whats that all about. im not trin to criticize neone that plays for the pioneers and i dont want ne one to think that i dont wnat them to win cause i do. htey need to get over htat hump. O and last year at peabody when GC lost in the last few mins of the game on an interception, i can remember tellin rob not to worry about that they will get them next year and i think thye might have a chance to if they play the way they did the first quarter of hte dresden game. so GOOD LUCK PIONEERS

i was at the game and i beleive that if they had kept #22 int he game and leget hte other white kid out they would of done alot better. 22 had better moves and in time will break the shcools rushing record set by brent smith. BUT just because one play or series goes bad u cant lower ur heads like alot of em did last night. u just have to go back out there and get the JOB done.

i played at GC and i know exactly how it is to go a season and not win a game. and i also know how it is to to be criticized by fans n the stadium who doesnt know what its like to get out there and give it ur all and come up short. i cna think of one time where a student at GC told another that a certain player suckd and that if they wasnt playin we might win a game. i do believe that sometimes a people think they know more than they really do. sum fnas just come to the game to be seen and others come for the BAND. especially at GC and for gcounty5 yall need to get off of him. that was me on his name ne way. and i didnt date matt colemans sister. i watched GC play last night at dresden and i thought they were gonna pull the win offf until poyner droped a pass in the endzone inthe 2nd quarter and i saw every player on the field put there hands on there head and after that the game was over. that has happend to GC for as long as i can remember. htye let one play change the out come of the game. i also heard that the starting QB was shaken up. whats the word on that??? i do think that GCs loosing streak will be brokent his year.

The gibson county high school team is on a loosing streak of over 30 games. they havent won a game since the 2000 season. the have some really strong guys who have a lot of game time experience and came close to beating a couple of teams last year but some fumbles and late intercerptions by the offense left them stranded. what are ur opinions?

well im goin witht he under dawg just because i know that a team who is predicted to not have a snow balls chance in winning can win. about 3 years ago i played for a gibson county team and we went down to milan and beat them 6-2 or so the year they were supposed to win it all. i htink they had to break out there old uniforms to were in florida and when they got back. i know it can be done because it has been done in the past. this milan team is no where near as good as that team was and this dyer co team has the tools to get the job done. GO DC!!!!!!!!!

i havent been on here in a while and i just read through this post again and i have a idea for your summer team problems. why dont u get one og those parents who think they know how a team should be coached and let them do it. let them teach them how to have proper pithcing mechanics and how to throw there hands at the ball. it aint that hard LOL. after a couple of butt kickings in AAA baseball they shut there mouths and realize they dont know what there talkin about. BOTTOM LINE is coach lumely is a great coach and when these little babies that have never had to work to get somewhere or work to get better were actually pushed to do sumthin they couldnt take the heat. baseball is a game where u have to go out and work to get better we all know that. well some of us do anyway, and obviously jackson has some kids who think that just because daddy is a special someone that they shouldnt be pushed to the limit. yea i have ran till i threw up and kept on running while i was doing it. this genereation of kids are very lazy and think they shouldnt have to do anything. i beleive its the parents problem not the coaches. they ahve to get out on there on one of htese days. mommy and daddy wont be there forever. but let em learn that the hardway.
