So are you a disgruntled parent or related to a player that wasn't good enough to play at Bearden? Did it ever occur to you that good players transfer all the time? Maybe those really good players simply wanted to be a part of a great program with a great coach. You are a keyboard cowboy who don't have the guts to say who you are and just bash people from the safety of your computer desk. I talk to Justin about every day, so I'm quite certain I know him much better than you. Get a life.

After reading alot of your stuff it's apparent that you might need to pick up a whistle at Hibbets today and wander on over to Bearden and get you a coaching application. You non stop coach bash on here and have no idea what you are even talking about. Justin Underwood is one of the absolute best coaches in the business. He is respected across the state by his peers and he is a proven winner. Not only does he coach winning basketball, but he is a family man who teaches more than just basketball. You might want to direct criticism elsewhere if you want to have any credibility on these boards moving forward.

The best coach in Knoxville is Ricky Norris. He has developed a program at Webb that will go compete against anyone anywhere. He prepares kids for college basketball and their system is bigger than one individual player. Graduation comes and goes and Webb continues to be good year after year. That is coaching.

With Bradley getting Stoval from Webb, they will be the heavy favorites the next two seasons.

Reading this post is like watching someone trying to tell the writer of a book what the book was about... I think Josh Bosken knows more about what goes on on Cleveland wrestling than anyone else here posting.

Single digit losses with Kara Williams out with torn ACL. I'm not gonna argue. Bradley is historically and presently the best girls basketball program in the state. There is no shame in not beating them. I stand behind the statement that they cannot win without Cleveland Middle kids.

Gonna make a couple observations and then leave it alone. 1. Cleveland won 2 games 8 years ago and 27 this past season playing a legit schedule. 2. In the last 7 years how many wins would Cleveland have over Bradley if Jamaryn Blair and Harmonie Ware would have worn Blue instead of going to Bradley? Bradley can't win without Cleveland kids and Cleveland can't win without Cleveland kids. 3. Cleveland put more kids in college with scholarships the last 7 years than Bradley and Walker Valley combined. If beating Bradley is the measuring stick for success then every coach in the Region should be let go. I leave Cleveland with a clear conscience and zero regrets. Best of luck to the next staff. The players definitely deserve a coach that is passionate and will build on the growth.

I'm sure that Coffee had every intention to pound it inside, as I'm sure that Cleveland probably made it a priority to keep it out of the post. My point is It's always easy to be critical after you already know the outcome.

Seems simple with one day of prep. I do know this... Cleveland played a defense last night that they haven't played a single possession of all season.

Great points. Many assumptions but points made. If forcing the ball inside is what was causing the turnovers should you continue to do so or take the open shots that you have probably made all year.

So Coach Cope drew up all those missed 3 point shots and ran those plays that were designed to turn the ball over? It's not always the coach's fault. I'm not throwing the kids under the bus either so don't mishear me. I just don't like Coach bashing. Go walk in his shoes and I promise you won't ever be critical again.

Anyone that gets on here and bashes coaches needs stop and think about how much this stuff actually means to them. Coach Cope had his team prepared tonight and shots just didn't fall. Is that on him as a coach? It's not on the players either. Sometimes you just miss. That was a game between two really good teams competing at a high level. One made shots and one didn't. It's a make or miss game and coaching is sometimes very over rated. Not to mention Coffee played without one of their best shooters tonight. Cleveland had kids step up...It's that simple. Congratulations Coffee County on an incredible season.

Have you seen Bartlett or Bearden play? If not, your assessment lacks validity. Bartlett is the best AAAA team in the state. I have seen them all.

You want to come on a website and talk about kids from behind your screen name and feel better about your life go ahead. Lauren was the Gatorade High School volleyball player of the year in Tennessee. She has 10 D1 offers in basketball as a sophomore. She is a great kid that is doing well in life. Get a life and stop bashing others on the internet.

I was going to message you privately but it's not an option. I want you to know that we do pride ourselves on celebrating our teammates. It comes across wrong sometimes but I can assure you that our kids are never intending to disrespect other teams. I have always made that clear. As a coach I have been on the other side of it and we pride ourselves on playing with class, respect of our opponent, and NEVER DOING ANYTHING AT THE EXPENSE OF THE OTHER TEAM. I apologize whole heartedly if that's how we came across. You guys run an amazing tournament and hopefully our team learns from our experience up here. Have a blessed day.
