    Jackson County's defense is playing pretty good right now. If the offense could just cut down on the turnovers this could be a good game. Best of luck to both teams and hopefully there won't be any injuries.

    Coach Russell is a very intense individual and I believe he will make that phone call. I think the heat of the battle got the best of him. His heart is set on turning this program around and I think he felt Jackson County would of gave you a better game. Coach one thing I want you to realize is even though we lost 47-0 , we the fans can see a vast improvement in this team. So keep up the good work.

    Yeah Queenie it sure is good to see more fans in the stands. Congratulations to Smith County on a well played game. To all the Jackson County players keep your heads up, you guys played hard and didn't give up. I for one am very proud of you.

    Smith County should win this one, but if they come into this game thinking it will be a blow out they might be in for a surprise. Coach Russell has these boys pumped up. Good luck to both teams and hopefully there won't be any serious injuries to anyone. Everyone from Smith have a safe trip to and from the game.

    Muffin it seems as if he supports whatever team is playing Jackson County. Last week he said that Clay was going to run all over J. County. Now that Clay lost they are a sorry team. Yes there is excitement in Jackson County. The boys are better conditioned and they practice a heck of alot more than they did last year. No one has said that they were going to be great, just that they should be better than they have been. Good luck to Clay County and I hope that the 2 boys that got injured are ok.

    Coach Russell has brought alot of enthusiasm and discipline to the Jackson Co. football program. It will probably take a few years to make the program respectable but it is heading in the right direction.

    I just want to congratulate Coach King and the Jackson County Blue Devils for making it to the regions this year. This is the first time since 1983 that a team from J County has gotten into the regions. I'm proud of you guys. Hammer you've been through alot of rough seasons here and I want to say Thanks for everything.
