  1. Depends on what you mean by hard??? Click on their schedule and you can view their entire season! Cleveland, Mt. Juliet, Bradley are all respectable teams.
  2. Congratulations to the guys at Walker Valley on thir fist ever REGION CHAMPIONSHIP! What an awesome game- That was some fancy shootin Corey! Lebron and Joe was to rip those 3's!
  3. Congrats to the ladies of Walker Valley- REGION CHAMPS! Special Congrats to Suzanne Morris and Mindy Cox on their All- Tournament Alyson Butler- MVP Good Job Oasha Parks, and Awesome play by Ashton Burrell, those were some great passes girl and awesome hustling!
  4. There was no favoritism, and it wasn't who anybody knew. They were a Brand new school- This is their 4th year in existence, the attendance just grew enough last year to go AAA- by TSSAA standards, they are moving up next year just like they are required to.
  5. I LOVE IT- ILOVE IT- I LOVE IT! WAY TO GO BEARETTES! thumb
  6. Tucker has the same girls playing as he has for the past 2 yrs when the enrollment was AA acceptable. It wouldn't matter if their enrollment had become 5,000 this year- the same girls would still be on the floor, so it really isn't a size issue. They are in the division TSSAA put them in, and when it is time for them to leave- they will. They will compete well whether it be AA, AAA or whatever..............for sure they will at least compete as well as any other AAA team in this area Everybody use to say their schedule would hurt them, and "you can't get better playing a schedule like they play" but they handle some of the "better" teams very well, even those that supposedly play a "tougher schedule". So go figure............
  7. Another EAST Tennessee team that did awesome- is WALKER VALLEY GIRLS- Who placed 3rd in the A/AA Team standings! :) Go, Traci, Brittany, Allison, Kristin, Emily, Lisa, and Ashley!
  8. You WILL BE- Count on it- (Looked good at Region by the way)
  9. What about Cox from Walker Valley? She always impressed me!
  10. A/AA- Love to see it go to Longstreth/although he will be tightly challenged by many, AAA- Clay Hannah, DII- Bumbi............duhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
  11. October 28th is Region but I am sure you know that! Tiffany has been very impressive lately. Hard work pays off, and its nice to see it for such a nice person! (My Daddy always said- If your "GOOD" everybody will know it- you don't have to tell them about it! )
  12. Actually Adam was serious.........................no joke!
  13. I think that is a very safe statement- Longstreth has already ran a 16:38, and Pair or Sexton one ran a 16:07- realizing of course that I don't know the difficulty of the course, but still a very respectful start for this early in the season.
  14. Daniel Jones, Matt Cowan, Ryne Sexton, Joseph Pair, Jordan Longsreth,Goetz from CCS, Hunter Kemp, Caleb Morgan............ They've all got it!
  15. Ive seen Jill twice this year already and she looks awesome!
  16. It all comes down to Mental Toughness- Palmer can do it, if she believes she can, and is willing to put the mileage in. Pickel is a natural, she doesn't have to work as hard as others do, and will still get results.
  17. I didn't say he would beat anybody or even take the title - I said he would "challenge" anybody for the individual title. I stick to that. I know Michael and Suhmer G. are very well trained and would love to see a senior go out in style. Best of Luck to both of them. Matt is also well trained though ,and I have seen alot of good things out of him- The biggest thing being consistency. Another thing I have learned is you can never compere one season to another, who knows- Good Luck to everybody- especially "The Draino" thumb
  18. Walker Valley has 3 strong and 2-3 getting stonger, I wish they would win, and possibly will pull it out, but Chatt. Chrisitian is always ready- and CSAS has probably the best runner in the region- (Jordan Longstreth ,runner-up at State last year.)
  19. I think McMinn will take the team title but Baltimore from BCHS will challenge anybody for the Individual title.
  20. Just don't get injured- training hard is great, but you want to be able to race when it comes crunch time. Quality runs...................................Quality runs! P.S. Thanx Coach Smith for letting another "runner" tag along at a few of your pracitices. Very nice sportsmanship! thumb
  21. I still think Oak Ridge- They've been talking WAY TOO much- They have alot of words to back up!
  22. I guess 4th wouldn't be too shabby! C you soon Kenwood-
  23. I predict 3rd! (again based on Lamar doing well)
  24. Ditto that 800Track MOM! GO THOMPSON!!!!!
  25. and that was a live eye report folks, straight from Athens Tennessee!
