Just because you are a Maryville fan now, I will call David and let him know about this post and ask him if he will agree to doing an interview with you. Mabey we can sell tickets to that interview and use the money to fix up the Skeeter.

I agree oldrebel, sometimes I get a little to excited. As far as that goes, we still have a lot of work to do this year.

Three things will happen when Maryville moves from 4A to THE BIG BOY LEAGUE. #1. A lot of 4A coaches will be really happy. #2. A lot of coaches in the BIG BOY LEAGUE will be un-happy #3. Maryville will be playing the 6th game in Murfreesboro on Championship Weekend instead of the 4th. Rebel9

Clevelandblueraiderfam, how do you think region 4 will stack up for the play-offs? Maryville secured the #1 seed in region 3 last night but seeds 3-4 are up for grabs between Powell, Clinton and Knox West.

This has been talked about for a long time and now you have decided to crawl out from under a rock and try to throw cold water on a really good High School Football team that does it the right way. Look back about two weeks ago and you will find the same discussion by a group of people just like you. There are a lot of schools that have a member on the Board Of Control and Maryville has a principle that is on the Board. Are you stupid enuff to believe that the Board would let Maryville have special treatment and not get any special treatment for thier own schools? My advice to you is to crawl back under your rock and let the season play it's self out. Next year you can start talking about Maryville in 6A and you can dream up a whole new discussion about how Maryville cheated to get there. The base number of 1350 was 4 years ago and if you would look for the details before you try to tarnish the hard work of so many kids, you could have spent this day under your rock. Rebel9

After the game last year Stanton got into it with a person from Clinton. I think it was a coach but it might have been a parent. It happened on the field after the game. I really don't think Stanton would have to smack Hitch very hard to slap him silly. He might only have to walk up behind him and say BOO!!

Hey Bldrunner, I can't stay on here all day like you do so I can't answer all your questions as quickly as you might like. Most of us have a job and it is not one of those north Georgia government jobs like you have. My friend from Oak Ridge told me that you and Stanton were going to be the halftime show this week at Homecoming. He said that it was going to be a cage match at the 50 yard line and the looser leaves town. You better watch out, he might think you are a coach from the other team and smack you silly. It took a lot of deep thought to post that. You might be correct, Maryville might be to scared to play with you BIG BOYS.

If Halls can stop the Powell QB, Halls can beat Powell. Halls played a much better game against Maryville than Powell did. I am not trying to diss Powell but I think Halls can beat them. Rebel9

Wow, that means that Mrs. Georgia was married when you dated her and being in the top 100 was a positive moment in your life. The fact that YOU won a state championship says alot about your tallent on the football field. I quess no one else on that team played a role in the victory. That is correct Gold and that would probally work in reverse. Looks like we both have a lot to look foward to in the future. The Maryville / Alcoa game will always be the game to see each year.
