Sorry about that East and West, but Middle Tn controls 6A football. Riverdale - the BIG DOG is back!! Oakland - working hard in the weight room lost some great players but you better be ready to play some physical football when the lights come on Brentwood-best skill players ever to play for the bruins, lost some lineman but if they can stay healthy should see them deep in the playoffs Hunters Lane- speed is not a problem getting by Williamson County the last 7 years is the problem /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  2. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> If Lewis County goes 10-0, Fairview 9-1, and Hickman 8-2; Hickman could go as a wildcard. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  3. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> I think that all of us can agree, that District 12 AA will be a great District to be apart of. There is a lot of good tradition here; teams that have been successful for years, and teams that are up and coming. The fan base is great for each of these schools and I am excited about this year and future years of District 12 AA football.
  4. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Best of luck to the players and the new Coach at East Hickman; after reading some of the comments in this section I hope all the parents and community will work together for the good of the kids. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  5. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Page is at Independence on May 1 and at Ravenwood on May 8. They have 3 starters back on offense: Robertson, Harb, and Capps. On defense they have 3 starters returning: Harb, Capps, and Meenach. Only 9 seniors return from last year's team lost the punter/kicker in Jordan Rion. They have alot of work they need to do in order to compete in District 12 AA.
  6. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> i know the beast of the east in 4a is gone; so giles county is ready to take over the 4a, sorry west tn you will have to go thru the bobcats to get to the big game

  9. they could have 4 preseason all-state picks (qb,rb,ol.wr) plus a load of returning letterman and starters from last year's team. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

  18. i hope this clears up things for old pirate i picked up the nick name jack while at sp playing basketball for coach brooks i then moved back to spring city in august of my sophomore year 1969; we did play sp that year at spring city and they beat us along with everybody else that year to win the 1a state championship: now for defensive coordinator coach bennett was asked to be my dc but had to decline due to his work and helping his father on the farm, my dc is richard herzog who will be teaching at page next year jim cherry will be the lb coach , aaron wells the dl coach and zach anderson with help with secondary and lb. i hope this clears up the information about us and i am looking forward to this year's season. airraid09 jackd
  19. congrats to coach p he will be missed at page, coach daniels has asked jackie bennett to come back and be the defensive coordinator
  20. i agree that maryville is one of the great football programs in the state, 2 weeks ago their rugby team played in the state championship game against brentwood and lost 52-7. i know that we cannot compare rugby to football but i don't believe maryville will be walking away with a lot of gold balls in 5a football.
