  1. not at all. also wish I knew you
  2. Funny you say that, neither one named their last football coach
  3. A committee of retired coaches would be best. Last principal that was qualified was Jim Overstreet at Hillsboro. Would bleacher be a good committee person to hire coaches?
  4. I would like to talk with you. I sent my email to you. Only 3 interviewing because number 4 withdrew his name. Not surprised.
  5. I have some questions. I would love to talk with you about metro football. Not on coacht though. If you are interested email me at rwbbama92@aol.com
  6. What are your thoughts about the current state of metro football. Open zones has just about destroyed football . I can remember when every school had players enough and were somewhat competitive. Also I wish I knew who you were to understand your thinking and where you coached or still are, Contact me at rwbbama92@aol.com if you want to really share some thoughts. I have some questions I will not discuss on here.
  7. University of Alabama has 5 players test positive for Covid 19. This is not going to promote workouts continuing.
  8. I promise you I want schools to open on time and sports played. I want things to get back to normal. I coached football for 45 years. It has been my life.
  9. All you did was say the same thing I said. What if TSSAA's parameter's as you say were too low, then what? By allowing schools to determine there own guidelines really is better. As you say I do hope there is school, but no school no sports. I have even heard sports most likely to not play are football, basketball, and wrestling.
  10. I am all in favor of that. I am just saying TSSAA can not decide for school systems what they do. Already different schools systems are allowing return to workouts. I also see where Montgomery county is waiting till after dead period. It will be interesting as it gets closer to season what each school system will allow and how the school day will be handled. If there is a 2nd wave and one system closes and another remains open how will that affect games.
  11. Everyone not as tough as you. School reopening and any restrictions will be the deciding factor for sports. TSSAA can only make decisions for themselves, every school system will make their own decisions.
  12. Tennessee Tech total campus is shut down until July. Football most likely start back mid July.
  13. Metro schools was not allowed to have spring football for a long time when other counties were within TSSAA rules and guidelines. Same thing is happening now with each county school system making decisions best for them. Buddy Brown
  14. Also played college football at Cumberland University. Wishing him the very best.
  15. yes, going to Tennessee tech to coach qb,s good job, it will be interesting .
  16. Rumors are just that ,rumors. Backstabbing rumors here are just an excuse . If you have facts, say them or just be another guy on coacht trying to be somebody hiding behind an username.
  17. I thought Steve a good job. Many games could have gone either way. I think having to many coaches from outside made it difficult. I never heard or noticed any coaches not on board or coaching any way other than the way he wanted. I thought the coaches were behind and supportive of him.
  18. Yes, that it what I had heard from some admin at Hillwood.
  19. Terry Anderson, you heard of him? He would be the best choice, agree?
