Josh Blake's final stats are as follows: Passing 126-212-5 1674yards 23 TD's Rushing 828 yards 11 TD's Defense 35 solo 35 assist 2 int one for a TD and 4 tackles for loss. This is from the free safety position. Great kid on and off the field.

Most of the stats are right on. Josh actually has 1498 yards passing and 794 yards rushing. These are his official stats. If anyone needs any other stats of his I can help. He is easily a contender for the award which is based on this year not career.

Grace middle school beat Boyd in 4 overtimes.

I hope that you do not think that this person represents Grace at all. If that is what the problem is then I am sorry, but this person should not allowed to be on here. Are you referring to eaglemaniac's comments as the basis for saying "I find if difficult to believe are pleased with how some things are there."? I sure hope not. I again apologize for any thing he says even though he is not connected to Grace at all.

Before I make a correction let me just say that Boyd played very well and the players and coaches for Boyd were very Classy. Grace did not call to cancel the game. If you have ever been to Grace and seen there field it does not drain well in parts. Because Grace has to use it as a practice field and game field there was no way Grace could play and the field because of standing water. Trust me when I say Grace wanted to play the game at home. The coaches and Administrators were on the phone back and forth all day trying to decide what was the best option. It was about 3:15 before everything was finalized. If Grace did not want to play the game they could have said we will make it up on Monday or not play at all. Them playing on Friday and giving up a home game shows they wanted to play Boyd. So Grace did not call at 10 till three and try to cancel the game that info must have been passed down a bunch to get so far from the truth. Thank you for all the parents from Boyd who pitched in at the last minute to make the game possible. I hate the outcome for Grace, but in order for Grace to be at Boyd's level we have to play them and learn from our mistakes. Good luck the rest of the season.

Taft is not a very good team. I guess Oliver Springs is? One win last year makes them good? Riverside? enough said. This will be a good match up but it has nothing to do with who each has played. Silverdale and Grace are both great schools and when they play Friday it will be a good game. Good luck to both schools and may they both represent Christ well.

Josh Blake would be on the list if the people who came up with the list did there homework. Josh rushed for 829 yards with 19 TD's. He passed for 1043 yards with 12 TD's and 6 int's. Not to mention he had 50 tackles with 2 int's.

That was not Silverdale, that was David Brainerd.

By the way Boyd was not in LV district. CCS was in their district. They were in the same region.

The coaches voted for this so you should ask coach Dinger why they voted for CSAS's coach. Sometimes there are other reason for why they vote a coach as coach of the year besides just record.

You are like many of us who hate to see this topic. Josh is a great player and more importantly a great kid. I know that there is nobody at Grace that doubts Josh's ability nor do we want him to leave. I Personally know and coach Josh and would be deeply saddened by his departure.

What grades did you coach him in?

You don't understand. Boyd played teams even this past year who wiped them out. You play teams that are supposed to better than you so that it makes you better. But, just like in Boyds past, when teams took them lightly Boyd came up with the upset. That is the hopes of Grace to get better by playing a great team like Boyd, but also hoping to get a win.

There is a difference between discounts and free tuition. Also for the high school to advertise that as a perk to there school? That is a little shady. So we don't give you a scholarship now, but if you come we will give you one once you finish high school. If I was still in high school I guess I would like the deal, but I see the unfairness to all the other schools who compete against Temple.

I am sure Greg is a good coach, but he has never been a head coach. Don't say he was the girls head coach because we all know Dan was listed as the head coach with TSSAA. So if you say Greg was the head coach there could be a violation since he was not certified to be the head coach.

I think she was saying he would be there for a long time, not what he has done in the past.

Jim Arnold was coach of the year at Bryan when he coached there. He helped turn their girls program around to the powerhouse that they are now. He can coach.

Does Greg even have his degree to coach yet? I know that is why he couldn't coach this year.
