Hey get facts straight bro ... Fulton moved to keep from traveling to Chatt like AC .. think what u want ... and the 2 best of Fultons 6 state champs were 2013 and 2014 .. and that's the 2 years that Rankin decided he didnt want a 2nd loss on his resume and refused to renew contract with Fulton .. after seeing those boys in 2011 as freshman beat down his fresh 30 - 6 .. Alcoa has great teams and handled Fulton all those years but one at Alcoa when Cobb and Rogan played.. but those 2 years in 2013 and 2014 Rankin didnt want any .

I will go with Centrals defense ... BEWARE !!!

Congrats Chs Bobcat .. defense was outstanding .. West QB just not able to throw it well enough to balance anything out .. you put Fawver on West team and it might go that way .. but Central is very balanced run .. pass .. defense .. so I look for another Gold ball .. Central still a rival to me but I will always pull for the Gold to come back to ET ... good luck .

It's close...Powell better at QB and WR ... OL and DL probably same .. LB close too .. I still think Powell better talent but my point was Coaching beat them .. when you have a youth midget coach as your OC .. Powell had talent to be more efficient on offense .. the QB scrambling and QB draws were their offense .. wasted alot of talent on offense .. but like I said if ML dont let J J in and do that .. he dont have those weapons at RB , WR and DB ...

I guess ML knew his only chance was to try to recruit some players in ... but the down side is hiring a midget coach to be OC just so you can get the players he knows and have contacts with kids all over the city ... so shows how desperate ML was to go to those depths of hiring a guy to call plays that has never coached in high school .. talent wise they had best team .. but coaching cost them .. since he has the kids now .. maybe he will go back to calling plays and get rid of JJ .. who is always gonna be under the microscope cause he knows every kid in knox co and surrounding ...

Guess JJ and ML gotta recruit better ... wonder which loyal Powell kids that have played in Powell youth and middle schools will be put on bench when JJ and ML bring in the recruits ...

Josh Jones probably has contact info for every parent of a 7th and 8th grader that plays in this city and surrounding areas ... his connections with the all star games he has ran ... I don't care for Lowe or his cockiness .. but he is smart . Hiring a youth football coach who can and is getting players ... if he can get all the kids to buy in .. he is a heck of a recruiter ... that's the only reason he is that position .. he definitely hasn't earned his keep .. but Lowe is sneaky .. shady ... and will win at all costs ..

Better than Fulton .. even though Fulton beat OR last 2 years and had better seed .. I think easier playing Soddy and West as opposed to Rhea and Powell .. you dont think ??? Why that's a no brainer Cat ...

Yea be tough for Falcons .. missing qb.. 2 rb.. best ol and best dl .. and about 4 other guys who sub in and out .. freshman rb and wr's .. but they are tough kids .. will try their best .. about 8 kids having to play both ways won't help.. I know Rhea's offense will be different than any the Falcons have seen .. but these young pups surprised me and just competed .. hopefully bodes well for next couple years . They be more competitive in the region if they can get more kids out .. 32 last night .. hard to have any depth .. when you have injuries like they have faced this year .

Non football related .. just wanted to say that Oak Ridge band was outstanding .. the songs that played .. they are very good.

South Doyle missing Bragg really ruined them this year . Without him they were one dimensional ...

S S ... Definitely not same team that I thought out played Powell ... May be a team that plays up and down to competition ... OR has some studs out there .. #1 is going to be something .. If ya can hold on to him ... I watched them come back down hill for 2nd half .. A lot of those kids are stout and athletic .. Some of Falcon young guys definitely need to hit weights ... Eat some calories but they are tough kids .. Good luck .. Everybody 0-0 now .

What a gutsy game from a team with 32 players .... Playing with a W R as a Q B who has been out 8 weeks with knee injury ... Lost starting qb last week .. Lost RB last week .. Lost another R B in 1st qtr ... Played with a freshman wr and freshman r b the rest of game ... I sat there watching thinking these kids are out numbered .. Out sized ..small sized Freshman playing everywhere and they gutted it out against a improved OR team who had Powell beat .. These kids didn't care they were 2-7 ... And to have 450 yards of offense .. Wow

Fulton decimated by injury ... be tough .. QB out .. RB out .. maybe 32 players to dress .. it's been a rough year for injury and they lost a ton of seniors last year .. been rebuild time around Falcon nation ..

I think its Powell ,West , Central and SD in that order this year. Will be interesting after this week .. can West defense slow Powell ...and can West produce enough offense .. should be a good one.

Could be .. one thing for sure AC won't be a threat in weak 4A ..... ... they have a paved road ...all way to Greenevile and or Betsy .. but again it will be go home time for the wishful Mavs .. the wanna be's ....

Falcons will have to play well .. missing our best ol and dl .. best wr and db .. and another starter on ol ...will hurt cause it hurts our already thin roster ... too many players having to play both sides ... probably 8 going both ways. Powell will be 2 platoon .. and fresh .. 2nd half will be key ... gotta try to stay in it and try to stay within a score to have chance here . Our skills and our numbers are just not there this year .. but anything can happen . We will show up and compete like always. .. Devilman we have our Gold balls .. others trying to get some .. Powell will be one of those with a chance .. along with Central , West and South Doyle in 5A ..
