  1. What happened to the non-negative posts?
  2. Man, even if I don't agree, I got to give props to a guy who is going to predict a quarter by quarter box score. Got any play by play predictions? Oh yeah, does McNairy still run the run and shoot offense?
  3. A few scnerios that could happen off the top of my head involving CC, SS, and Lex winning the region (not all of them): CC and Lexington wins out, Lexington wins region (duh). CC wins out, Lex beats McN, loses to SS, Lex win region CC wins out, Lex loses both, CC wins region SS wins out, SS wins region Not trying to sight McNairy, I just haven't looked (or figured out through posting) their schedule besdies Lexington Friday night. Basically, if Lexington and CC win Friday night, Lexington wins the region.
  4. You are going to have to do better than that. Let me rephrase what I asked.......Can region 2 sweep region 1 and region 4 sweep region 3 this year in the first round of the playoffs?
  5. One of you please do! I don't care which one!
  6. You know, I could just add to this, show regional bias, and call everyone outside of AE in East TN zeros, but I'll refrain. But I will pose the question, Can regions 2 and 4 sweep 1 and 3 in the first round?
  7. If Lexington wins tomorrow night over McNairy, does that clinch the region or just homefield? Or does a lot of it matter on how other teams fare? Should be for an exciting final three weeks.

    3A Playoffs

I never called Greenbrier cocky. I did say "Region 5 guys" are cocky, but I never named Greenbrier by name. Quit going John Kerry on me here. I wasn't referring to the palyers or teams as cocky, merely some of the posters on here. I remember a middle school comment and such throughout. That was what I was referring too. I've been to one region 5 school in my life and no nothing about the current players and teams attitudes. Heck, I couldn't get to any school in the region right now if I had to. Hopefully I will be finding out come playoff time though at some point. Good luck to all.

    3A Playoffs

No, I haven't been in a cave, just East TN. Look, I know Greenbrier has a RB than ran for 2000 years last year and that he was the feature of a Tennessean article. I know the kid is good. What I would like to know is if he is the type of back that is going to break 30 yard run after 30 yard run or the guy who will just pound you to death and get 25-30 carries a game? I've been in the area less than 2 months, and becoming acquainted with every last high school superstar of the area hasn't exactly been on page 1 of my list of things to do. Now, could someone please answer my question because it seems to me most of you know how to talk trash but don't know any facts to back it up?

    3A Playoffs

Graduate and former player. I just want to point that you guys are making Milan and Huntingdon fans looks humble. I'm not saying that Lexington is going to romp through the playoffs either because I have seen them once this year and know nothing about Region 5 even though I live in the heart of it. Seriously, is the Greenbrier RB a 2000 yard rusher on a 10 YPC or a 4 YPC?

    3A Playoffs

Man, the guys from Region 5 are cocky. What about the RB from Greenbrier? What does he average per carry?
  13. If there are internal problems, then the Mustangs playoff run won't make it to the Boro.
  14. Thank you Huntingdon and Milan fans for brightening up what was otherwise a dreary day. You are like a bunch of old men at the coffee shop, you will argue about anything.

    3A Playoffs

Yeah, and Crockett beat them 43-7 last year too and look what happened Friday night 6-3A will send the team to the semis to face Kingsbury. AE will come out of East TN. The question is, who will be that 3-7 team to sneak up and win the first round playoff game?
  16. 1-6 and 0-7 is a great game? Entertaining or close I will give you. Great? Not so much.
  17. Adamsville took them down last year and it was total domination. I think it might be closer than what you think.
  18. I think you'll see a split similar to what has been seen recently. 5-6 teams in the Memphis area section and 5-6 teams in West/Middle TN section. West TN teams support their teams too well in the playoffs to cut four of them. Plus, there are more than 4 quality playoff teams annually. There's no way they can justify not making two regions out of it.
  19. Awwwwww............poor little cocky Mustang fans don't know what to do now with 2 losses in a season and the first realization that a guaranteed repeat isn't going to be as easy as they first thought it was.
  20. Now just take it to the Bobcats.
  21. This is just shaping up to be a good sports weekend for me. What can I say? They've got too much talent on that team. I'll probably take heat for this statement but.....HUNTINGDON WAS NOT THAT MUCH BETTER THAN LEXINGTON (if at all, couple of key plays there and it could have been a flipped 28-6 final). I knew they had to get it sooner or later, just glad it was sooner. Now they just gotta take care of business against McNairy and hello region title!!!!!
  22. Sorry, I had to say it. Let me try to redeem myself....... Instead of watching game film, opposing teams watch Remember the Titans for motivational encouragement instead. College recruiters get mad because they got lost on the way to the game and missed the first quarter and the guy they came to see in already in street clothes. The long snapper gets more snaps per game that the starting D-line. and finally....... Tom Osborne, Mack Brown, and Steve Spurrier call and tell the coaches not to run the score up so much.
  23. You talk about how awesome you are, but still won't play anybody from the Super 7 to actually back it up. Sorry, I had to say it. All in good fun.
  24. I'm disappointed in the the Science Hill folks for not mentioning Spurrier. He played and coached in the NFL, although both were brief stints. Your friggin' field is named after him. Sad sad sad. And Gerard Arnold from Lexington spent a brief time on the Redskins practice squad/injurded reserve list in early 2000s. Not fancy, but all we got.
  25. I know Crockett is good. You don't win for as long as they have and not be good, but Lexington also has a lot of talent and eventually will pull off an upset. They couldn't quite do it against Huntingdon, but something tells me tonight is the night and takes a big step to bring home the first district/region title in a while Either way, I think both teams get first round home games.
