I like the way Georgia dose its' play-off where one team from each region is in a different bracket. Which means new teams to play all most every year. Upsets everywhere. That is why I like Georgia's

It will be totally different game for Central going from one team that throws the ball all over the place and runs out of the shot-gun all game, to a team that will run the ball right down your throat, and a defense that will punch you right in the mouth. It will be a great match up between the Running Backs too.

Man that was a great game probly the best high school game i have ever seen in person. So close but not enough time for Rhea. Both teams played hard and as a fan that is all i can ask for. Yeah there was some missed calls on both teams but that is football for ya. I have got to give props to Central on the Stadium, very nice and a great atmosphere. If you were not there you missed one heck of a game down by 21 at the start of the 4th and to come back and have a try to tie it and miss it oh that was painful. But if Rhea would have played like that in the regular season then we probly would have been the Region champs. But on to next week I think I might make the trip down to Red Bank and see a dual between two great RB next friday.

One of the best games of the first round was Rhea County and Knox Central. Man that was one of the best come backs I have ever seen in high school football. Down by 21 at the start of the 4th, and come back to within one of knocking off the 2nd ranked team in 4A. So close but not enough time for Rhea. I think if knox Central plays like that against Red Bank then Knox Central will get destroyed by Red Bank. I'm looking forward to a great RB match up next week in Red Bank.

I think it will be between Bradley and Cleveland for the District Championship. Now as for Rhea Co. I think Coach McCowan will make a big difference in the program this year, so look out Rhea might make a run for it. McMinn Co. and Cumberland. One word Sporaeic, they are very strong but it hard to tell what they will do this year. Sometime they are good other and times they're not. So we will see here in a few weeks. Now on to the new team Walker Valley, I don't know hardly a thing about them. So no comment.

Yeah he might have had just a little luck on his side but you have to admit he was pretty clutch on the 18th and the play-off holes.

Ok we all know that Rhea Co. is the underdog and there is probly one team in Region 4-4A that can beat you and that is Red Bank. But powderpuff i wouldn't say that. But looking at the big picture no one is going to beat Maryville not even Knox Central. When was the last time Knox Central beat Maryville? Now back to friday's game I would say knox central is going to win, but you never know. Until that clock hits zero, in the 4th on friday night. all you can do is talk trash and play a little play-off football until then. And I will say one thing it's great to play someone different this year instead of the Maryville.

Well i hope Hixson wins but this is the same Powell team that beat McCallie earlier in the year. And everyone knows McCallie is probly the best team in Chattanooga.

Well the scrimmage was just that a scrimmage and we have improved since that time. If I remember right knox central has that great running back and boy did they like to commit penalities. Beyond that i don't remember much about knox central. The only thing that is going to kill use is are top WR is out, and with the pass heavy game we play it's going to affect are game plan. So who know we might just bring a whole different game plan for the play-offs. Good luck to both teams and may the best team win,and i'm looking forward to a good play-off game friday.

I don't have a prediction, but a stat, Rhea County is 6-0 against White County and we beat them by 32 points on avg. Hopefully history will repeat its self and we avoid getting put out by maryville like the last couple years.

Amen and their football team can flat out destroy almost any team they play. I hope we don't have to make the trip up there the first week of the playoffs this year.

Rhea Co. has a very big stadium it seats somewhere around 9000 and the atmosphere is always great on friday night, espeacially no region game nights

Well I don't know about the best but Rhea County's new coach. Coach McCowan will be a good one.

Wow! I said Hunter Green was the best Back in June and he is the best now in Oct. in AAA

At the Rhea County vs. Cleveland Game there wasn't any rain but man the wind was wild. There had to be gusts up to 35+mph at times.

In my mind Justin Hillard is the Best Lineman in East Tenn. He plays both DE and DT, along with some MLB and he is a powerful FB. Several DI-AA school are looking at him. But Vandy is where he wants to and Vandy is looking at him too. There was a great article in the Chattanooga Times-Free Press Yeasterday about him.

19-9 Rhea County Wins!!!! Way to go Rhea Co. on this huge win and a playoff birth for the third straight year Great win and what a great game both teams play very hard but Rhea was just that much better. Off to White County to see we can't get third. GO EAGLES!

Yes, it is time again for the greatest rivalry in Region 4-4A football. This one will be a barn burner both teams must win to have a chance to make it into the playoffs. Speaking of the playoff yeah they start in two weeks from friday but for Rhea Co. and Cleveland they already have started. This one will be smash mouth football at it's best. Central we destroyed them so no problem there Red Bank- Very good Football team probly one of the best in 4A football Rhea Co. I hope we beat you guys and make it in to the play offs but it should be a very close and very good game.
